Atherton Escape Rooms

I was lucky enough to come here with work and try 2 different escape rooms in consecutive days. What can I say, I’d never been to one before and was dubious but this experience was honestly amazing. The rooms we chose were cleverly executed.
Jarret was our host on both days and what a fantastic guy, informative, knowledgeable and very professional. He looked after us and made us feel very welcome, that much so we were there for 3 hours.
Already booked again to go with my own family.

Had a brill time! We did the Kinkapped room and managed to escape with one and a half minutes remaining!! Really detailed and tricky room, was very challenging but very fun. Lilly gave us some helpful hints to keep us moving at a reasonable pace (!!) Would defo recommend and great value for money.

We've done 2 x rooms here at Atherton Escape rooms now. The venue itself is great, with a bar and snooker tables etc, nice for a little social outing. The rooms themselves are pretty good, but they don't really compare to the likes of Lucardo with regards to the build quality. I also always find it strange there's no music playing in the rooms, so it's just the noise of your group, and then hearing people chatting etc on the outside which ruins the vibe a little. Overall though we had a great time

A party of 3, we visited Adrenaline Escape Rooms in August '23. We completed the Escape Room 'Missing' with 27 seconds to go, it was very tense towards the end!! Our host, Lilly, was great, she ensured that we had a really fab experience and helped us in the room when we ran out of ideas (which I'm afraid to say was rather a lot 😁) The Room itself was challenging in all the right ways, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and will be returning again to play a different game. Thanks again Lilly for making our experience so enjoyable!!

We'd never done anything like this before so our expectations were low, but it was such an exceptional experience we're actually going back soon. I'm on the autism / ADHD spectrum and was worried about the noise etc but when I communicated this to Will he was so lovely and explained everything in a calm and comforting way which helped us all to relax. Thank you Will, that meant a lot and made such a difference. Your natural and caring manner was very much appreciated. We had so much fun, our two teenage boys cannot wait to return. It was a challenge but a good fun challenge. We did the 'Missing' room with 10.25 remaining. Beat that!!!

Visited here recently as we have completed all other escape rooms in the area and was really disappointed. We played the Log Cabin game, all other escape rooms we've done we were told a back story before being let into the room to get you in the mood and set the scene, this one we wasn't and it really took away from the experience from the start. The first room was nicely decorated but the second room was pretty poor and felt very cheap with £1 shop Halloween decorations. The walls are so thin that we could hear the TV in the reception area blaring music as well as the builders having a chat next door, which completely killed any atmosphere we tried to create between ourselves. There aren't any puzzles/riddles in this game, everything's just about finding things so there isn't much of a mental challenge. Another thing what I felt poor in relation to other escape rooms was the communication between yourselves and the game hosts, there's no microphones in the room, so if you would like a clue you have to stop & wave a sign in front of the camera. Not a huge deal but again it takes away from the atmosphere a little to have to stop & hold a sign up, if the game hosts could hear they would be able to take initiative and offer clues alongside the running of the game. All in all I feel like this would maybe be a good place for people to start who want to give escape rooms a go but if you're a seasoned escapee I would give the place a miss.

Excellent evening out for a friend moving jobs. The staff were very friendly and explained everything clearly. You could take drinks into the room. Five of us went and spent an hour in the room the time went really quickly and it was lots of fun. I would recommend this place to family groups to groups of friends of all ages but not too young. I will definitely go again

We had a family visit to this attraction and thoroughly enjoyed it.The staff were friendly and helpful and if required you can have a drink before/after your room challenge.Well worth a visit and there are four rooms to choose from.

Visited for the first time and played asylum and train waiting room. I actually live really local and have played about 50 other rooms but just never came to Atherton Escape rooms! Should have gone much sooner :) Lovely friendly staff. Cheap compared to other places! Great place for groups of friends and families. Not high tech but certainly enough puzzles to keep you entertained for the hour! I’d definitely go again. They’ve even got a bar and snacks so you could easily chill and hang out in there.
