Can’t believe how fantastic this was ran during these crazy times! I decided to take my little girl to crazy town, I had taken her to ‘fun factory’ in Maghull the previous week and it put me off going to a play centre. My daughter is only 1 and the previous week was her first experience of a play centre and she loved being able to roam around and play but the centre itself was awful so I figured I’d try another. After trying the crazy town I feel like you can’t compare the two at all. At fun factory we were waiting to get in for 35 mins so we lost time on our slot, all because they were serving people at the cafe, the tables where all right next to each other, the place was filthy, they were sitting people down at tables that hadn’t been cleaned, and I couldn’t get over how many people were allowed in, it was heaving!
Pulled up at crazy town today and saw there was a pretty long que and thought ‘here we go again’ I didn’t even have enough time to get the email conformation on my phone and we had been sent through. There was plenty of hand sanitiser including a woman just going round offering it to people, the staff where all so friendly, the play centre itself is incredible, soooo much to keep every child entertained. I took my daughter and two nieces and none where ready to leave. And the best thing, it was so spacious, they clearly didn’t let a lot of people in, it was fully booked but you felt at ease. As the woman states on a previous post, yes, the toddler section was busy and people weren’t wearing masks but that is a personal choice, they can’t enforce that on people, and people used common sense and stayed out of each other’s way. The second we all started to leave they where disinfecting chairs and tables, it was just all really well organised and reassuring. My only note would be to put some music on in the disco room if possible because my little girl loves a good dance 🤣but I thought the way it was run was fantastic and the staff are a credit to the place. I would return in a heart beat and we will be. Oh and they also do a dairy free milk alternative which is always a winner for us! Can’t applaud the place enough!
This was not a good experience. Firstly, we took our daughter who is 20 months so not quite 2 yet. We were told there is a baby sensory and toddler area with soft play for under 3's so we thought that would be perfect. When we got there it was really busy and looked fantastic so we were disappointed to find that in the toddler area, which did state for under 3's all the bigger children were running through. Now obviously children do go wild in these places and have a good time but they were not staying in the areas designated for them which was frightening my daughter as she got knocked over by a young girl charging through. The girl was apologetic and I do not blame the children but no parents were stopping them and there was no staff telling them to get out and stay in their own areas. The place is huge so there is no reason for them to be in the toddler section. For this reason I would not return. We felt it was unsafe for our daughter and only suitable for older children. We left after 20 minutes.
Show more...I went here with my little boy yesterday and I was quite shocked 😲 at how bad things were. I didn't feel like people were keeping distance. Actually inside the play area with my 3 year old. No hand sanitizer all empty. No people or adults none at all wearing gave masks
Show more...I visited Crazy Town today after pre-booking online due to COVID. Crazy town is a place i would normally chose to visit as i've enjoyed it in the past. Today was different. We were greeted on the desk by manager Colin who initially appeared rude checking the age of one of the babies with me despite me already saying he wasn't old enough to pay yet. Fair enough i thought, its policy to check so we confirmed he was four months and entered. We could not find a space anywhere near the toddler area to sit down and with the child who was playing only being two, it felt irresponsible to sit at the tables near the entrance and the older kids play section. I explained really politely to the manager the problem and asked for a refund as we couldn't actually stay due to the seating issue. He was instantly rude showing me the seats near the entrance and i explained that it was too far due to the childs age, he then said it was due to COVID, which i said i totally appreciate and i said i know it wasn't his fault but we couldn't actually sit there and he became even more rude, telling me i should have got there earlier and being condescending about the small amount to refund. I think it was the fact that i was caught off guard that made me start to cry, which i feel embarrassed about. The money wasn't an issue and so i left without a refund but i feel like the manager was very rude and as i was left feeling upset, not a place i will return to in a hurry.
Show more...Took our 1 yr old and 2 yr old to the toddler morning. They had a great time dancing with the characters and playing in the soft play. The 2 yr old especially loved the sensory room.
The food came promptly, the hard part was dragging the boys away from playing to eat.
Staff were polite and it was good value for money.
Visited crazy town today for the first, I was so impressed with how clean the centre is and how friendly the staff are. We ordered two breakfast they were lovley so fresh. Staff could not do enough for you the mascot was Micky mouse it was great will be returning
Show more...Awful experience at crazy town and will not be returning because of this. Brought my daughter along to burn off some energy. The soft play area and climbing area is huge so great for energetic kids. However there was a party taking place at the same time clearly they didn’t take that into consideration when letting so many children in along with the party. A dinosaur mascot comes out which as you can imagine every child was amazed by this and went rushing over! For the staff to shout over the tannoy for the children not part of the party to MOVE away from the dinosaur and go and play. Now that is ridiculous I don’t care if the dinosaur is for the party how are you turning children away who aren’t part of this when it’s in the middle of the centre for all children to access. So wrong for a child orientated play centre. Excluding other children from looking at the dinosaur is disgusting I’m actually appalled by this. I finished my LUKE WARM overly priced latte and left and won’t be returning.
Show more...Couldn't even get enrty prices on their website. The only way is to register. And once you have done that you find out that they are very expensive, overpriced on most things. Of course the kids enjoyed being there just as much they would in any of the other playhouses in the area. And all you get is 90 minutes for your money. A proper ripoff.
Show more...Nothing was too much trouble when we hired the cozy lounge for our little girls christening day. The food was great, all of our guests loved it and we are very thankful to the staff for doing everything to make it run so smoothly. All the kids say it’s their favourite play area and all the adults lives the bar 😂❤️
What a day we had, will definitely be back for parties in the future and as normal play dates too ❤️
Colin and the team, thank you!

We've only just discovered Crazy Town. It's a 40 minute drive for us but it was recommended on a mums Facebook group and when I looked at their website I saw they had discount toddler mornings during the week for 2.5hours. Figured that was worth the drive over for such a long play so decided to give it a go. Where do I start? I was so impressed that first time that I've booked back to back play sessions TWICE this week, and have every intention of going as often as I can! It is it excellent value for money, as their play session are much longer than other softplays and your entry fee also includes a biscuit/fruit and drink. The centre itself is massive with great toddler area / sensory room and a multi tiered structure with various slides for the bigger kids. And trampolines. And a huge football pitch. And more! During the toddler mornings they also had a character appearance and a little disco. The place was spotless with sanitiser everywhere. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The food was lovely, and my friend was very thankful that they had non-dairy milk options too so she could have a nice cuppa. It's a wonderful place and most importantly my daughter loves it. We'll worth the trek and highly recommended.
