This is worth a visit, it was built in the 12th century. There is a very old cross in the graveyard and a small tomb. There is also a ballaun stone.
Show more...Easy signage off the main road through Dungiven. It is a very isolated ruin on a hill with small amount of parking. There is no significant walk to get to it. There is an old cemetery on the mound and the ruin itself appears to be well tended.
Show more...Located just off the A6 it is worth a wee detour just to break the journey for a bit of quiet contemplation. Easy to find, but parking is limited. A pleasant place to site and admire the surroundings, with a flask or cup of coffee, bought from Dungiven.

This is a lovely old church with a great example of a Mortuary House close by .
The graveyard is also interesting to explore .
Easy access to this very well maintained attraction that is steeped in history with loads if photographic opportunities.the toome is amazing.young children can be tokd all sorts if interesting tales that they will believe due to the authenticity of the church.
Show more...This old church in Dungiven is worth a visit. It was first mentioned in 1121 but could be older. There is an old mortuary house outside and an old stone cross.

Quick stop off to see the old church. Lovely views and worth a quick stop. Steep so not suitable for a pram but small enough to carry young children. Not much parking but there was no one there when we visited.
