Ballygally Beach

We enjoyed a lovely brisk windy walk along the beach. It’s a lovely clean and litter free beach enjoyed by all.

Great place to cool off and have fun with family and friends. Clean wide beach which is safe. The only downer is access.. The short path is very steep so young children and those with pushchairs will need help. Probably unsuitable for wheelchair users and those with mobility problems.

First impressions it’s no Benone Strand, small beach, sand quality just ok, the sea was calm and inviting, so small I had to walk my dog up and down six times. Nevertheless my dog thoroughly enjoyed it, however the backdrop is very picturesque

Coming from a seaside town myself I love the beach. Something very relaxing about waves.

This beach is small but very well kept. Views over to Scotland are class. A must in the summer time.

We regularly visit this beach to swim Kayak paddle and fish. Its a wee gem of a beach nice and shallow and safe for families. My kids love it. The water quality is good and there are a shop and toilets near by. It is very handy to get to from Ballygally holiday apartments (self catering) if you are staying there.

We stayed at a hotel right on the beach. The Half Way House Hotel. The beach was lovely. It's very scenic and very quiet. Lovely to walk along and enjoy the peace. It's not the place to go if you want amusements or candy rock. It's completely unspoiled.
It's a beautiful coast line edging a lovely village.

This is on the iconic Antrim Coast Road. In good weather it is beautiful and in the rain (does happen sometimes!) it is still an iconic view.

Can get busy but not overcrowded, very relaxing clean beach. Perfect location for Ballygally Castke Hotel.
