Hoyt Farm is part of the Town of Smithtown park system, and resident stickers are required to park during the peak season. This is the best local park ever!! Great playgrounds, ball fields, sprinkler park, bocce ball courts, lots of covered picnic tables, clean rest rooms, miles of hiking trails and ponds, combined with a nature center, live farm animals including pigs, cow, goats, and many chickens! All this and a historic home, and Native American artifacts including a working tepee! On select summer nights, the town also offers free concerts and family movies under the stars. Come with a resident, or come off-season! The rangers offer a variety of programs including tapping their maple trees for sap! Picnic areas, playgrounds, nature center, and some trails are wheelchair accessible. We LOVE this park!

sprinkler park, animals, fields, playground, bbqs. This is a good spot to bring your young family for a few hours. I believe you need a town sticker to enter. Remember to pick up after yourself.

Friend of mine had his Family reunion summer picnic here. Once a year and never a problem. They have facilities to accommodate handicap and children. Arrangements are easy and negotiable. The grounds are kept so nice and clean. The rates were also very reasonable.

Hoyt farms is awesome!!! They even have a special time in the day where they let the animals run down the path to go into their corrals for the night. However, if you are not a Smithtown resident, they will not allow your entry. I had to sneak in over a fence in the back but if you live in smithtown and have a residency sticker, its wonderful!
