This is one of the worst places to eat in ANY of the casinos. Went to eat around 8pm on a Saturday night, what a mistake that was. First, upon arrival we were seated, but things went south after that. We waited for seemingly 20 minutes to place our drink order just to find that the waitress who had been chit chatting at another table was ours as well. I ordered sweet tea with no lemon, had to tell her 3 more times no lemon, and she brought me tea with lemon anyway. Had to send it back. When she came back bringing our drinks, we placed a food order and appetizers. We waited and waited. One of the servers came bringing us someone else's order to go, along with plates. Not sure why we needed plates with a to go order? This happened twice. This whole time we had been watching the cooks leisurely walking to and from the kitchen, not a care in the world. Still no appetizers. Finally, 1 hr and 20 minutes later, they brought the appetizer along with our meal. Wife complained that our food would be cold by the time we ate our apps, absolutely no response from server. This place needs new management and a plethora of new employees. Do yourself a favor and pass it by.

Lit up well, kind of exciting for kids seeing all that Neon. However, we just stayed overnight on our way to Texas. The staff was helpful and polite. The Casino was busy and there was a party atmosphere well into the night it was still a bit noisy even in our room. Our room was a little less than expected but it was clean and livable. Maybe time for a renovation or update. Parking was free and plentiful. There are other businesses in the area, but you must drive far to get there, some even 30 minutes to Memphis city. The hotel has a Starbucks and another restaurant on site. Was not happy with $18.69 resort fee we were charged without notice due to reserving on 3rd party website using 15K Wyndham Rewards points. It is a mandatory fee, but it was never mentioned before making the reservation or at check-in.

Went there on an invitation from Caesar's Windsor. The Horseshoe is infested with cockroaches! Yyyyuck!! As well as seeing some in the hallway near vending machines, 5 roaches were discovered in a matter of minutes upon entering our room. We complained and were transferred to another room. In the middle of the night I discovered a huge cockroach in that bathroom, needless to say i was completely outdone and had to stay in common areas of the facility, wrap luggage in a huge clear plastic bag to provide me a sense of peace that they would not travel with me. Management insisted they didn't have any executive suites as we requested (I'm sure they keep those rooms clean and bug free), but they stated they would thoroughly clean and sanitize a room that we would be comfortable in, which they did. This last room was tiled as opposed to carpeted which certainly made it more comfortable, and much cleaner and fresher. I would NEVER EVER visit this place again! Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and this was THE MOST stressful get away of my life! I've never been so excited to leave a place that was anticipated to be a rest & relaxation escape. Management stated they were unaware of any cockroach problem, which is difficult to believe with so many being in multiple rooms and in the hallway. Unless of course it's a problem they choose to ignore.

Why are the people working here so rude? The only nice people were the ones working at Starbucks. The front desk and the restaurant staff are something else- and don’t even think about trying to call them - you will be sent in circles.
Billing support is awful. Oh and don’t think that an email confirmation of your early check in will be honored - but you will definitely be billed for it. They will look at you funny and tell you to call into reservations and not offer to take your luggage. Fun stuff.
The games were nothing special. The machines seemed dated but clean. If I return to the area I would NOT return here.

I know they just reopened after Covid 19 but the hotel was so unprepared for guests it was awful. Waited in line for over an hour to check in. Then told at 10 pm our room was not ready. They would call us. So we checked our bags and went to play. Casino was clean and very busy. Did not get a call so went back at 11:30 to check on it. Waited in line 45 minutes. Given a room and it had no bed and had not been cleaned. A very nice maintenance man went down to the desk and got us transferred to a new room and a $50 food credit. New room did not have trash removed and smelled musty and dirty but appeared to have clean sheets and towels and at that point too tired to wait anymore. People checking in ahead of us were told rooms not ready. Saw them later and they got a room at 4:30 and it wasn't what they reserved. I paid for all 3 nights these were not the free rooms but a reduced rate. I should have stayed at a regular hotel for that price. When asked how our stay was at checkout I said awful. No apologies. Rooms there used to be very nice. This was old, tired, dirty, noisy and in serious need of an update. Won't stay there again.

We have been busy doing this casino since it opened. When it first opened, we’re proud to recommend it to all of our friends. The casino was a lot of fun with and the people who work there were friendly and enjoyable to be around. The Buffet was absolutely top-notch. That was yesterday. It has been going down for several years. It has not reached bottom yet, but it seems to us that it is still sinking. They don’t even have a buffet anymore and what they do have is over priced and very low quality. We are diamond members and all of our rooms and meals are comped which means our visits there cost nothing except what we lose in the casino. We are not big time gamblers so we don’t win or lose a lot and this review might might be like looking a gift horse in the mouth. In the past when we arrived there, it was like visiting home. Now it’s like visiting a beautiful home from your past and find out that it has run down to the point where homeless people are living there. Now if someone were to ask for me, what casino to go to in Tunica I would say, go to the Goldstrike casino. There is no comparison. The Goldstrike is 10 times better. The Buffet is top notch and compares favorably with the best of Las Vegas. The employees all seem happy to be there whereas the employees in the Horseshoe all seem sad and demoralized. When you find demoralized employees in any organization, the cause is always at the top. Now for the hotel. Like I said, we had free rooms and have had for the last 25 years. Now the rooms look
like a set for “That70s Show. The room was rundown with wallpaper peeling off the walls and the drywall in one place falling apart. it is approaching the level of a crack hotel, although it has a way to go yet. The commode was dirty when we went in there for which there is no excuse. We go to other Caesars casinos, and for the most part they’re pretty good.
The best casino that we visit is Cherokee Casino resort in Cherokee North Carolina. It is owned by the Cherokee Indians, and it was managed by Caesars resorts It is top notch. There is no reason Horshoe Tunica could not be just as good. I am writing this review not so much to complain as to point out to the management deficiencies that we have encountered.Eldorado resorts, bought Caesars in 2020. Since that time they have been working on many of their properties and I hope they will do the same for Horshoe Tunica. Included in this review are some photos the first eight arms from Horseshoe the others are oh from gold strike.

We were there on Thursday night July 8. The casino was quite full for a Thursday. My husband was put on a list to be called to play poker but there was about 20 names before him. He never got to play because I lost all my $ before his name was ever called. He was told they had a shortage of dealers. We saw one jackpot for $1600.00 The man said he had been waiting 70 minutes to be paid. I lost my $400 in less than an hour. The most I hit was 50 quarters. Nobody else was doing anything either.

The service was disgusting. Once we got checked in and went down to the casino to eat and play a few we were quickly discriminated on as others were walking around smoking and sitting to play without a mask. We had ours on and below our nose bc of health issues and were told to make sure we had it over our nose. We couldn’t even take a sip of our drink without being pointed at and fussed at to put our mask on yet not saying a word to them. We got up and left due to the rudeness especially from the lady pitboss. Once we got up she acted as if we were the nasty people she ever seen. We run three business and will not be back. We went next door to goldstrike with welcome. Definitely do not stay here!

The Horseshoe offers a very nice place to stay; the rooms are quiet and comfortable and can be a very romantic atmosphere when dining in. The casino is good adult fun but you must be sensible. The food at 8oz. Bar and The Village Buffet was great; the room service was fast and the server was so friendly and courteous plus the food was hit and delicious. Ordering at the hotel is so easy with text service for valet and room service. All the associates we encountered were so nice and helpful starting with the valet, front desk, room service, maintenance, housekeeping, security, sales and floor personnel. Just makes for an enjoyable stay.

Booked a room on Horseshoe website for $106.09 for a Wednesday night in December, I even received an email referencing the same amount total. I noticed my credit card got charged $116.09 so I called them to see why, apparently they charge everyone $10 processing fee which they don't tell you about. I find it ridiculous since the casino was so bad. There was absolutely nothing going on and the employees did not appear happy. We gambled for maybe 20 minutes and headed over to Gold Strike. Gold Strike was so much better, the employees seemed happy and there was a live band, so much more exciting being there! We ended up gambling there for 4 hours and only lost $300-$400 so not a bad night.
