We are a family of four (two boys ages 17 and 14) that went on the 90 minute tour that started at 4pm. The land tour circled through central Santa Barbara. The hostess, who was very funny, pointed out key landmarks and told interesting stories of SB’s past. The water tour went past the wharf to a buoy which had four California Sea lions. Overall the tour was just the right duration to keep the kids interested. All had a good time.

A great place to start your Santa Barbara experience! Crew provided useful information for planning how and where to spend your time and also know the history and stories of the city that make it so endearing. Bonus is the fact that you also get to your the harbor: who doesn’t like a 2 for 1?!

I highly recommend Land Shark for your first stop in what will hopefully be an incredible trip. The best 90 minutes of your day😎

The store was absolutely wonderful! I learned a lot about the history of Santa Barbara and I enjoyed seeing the sea lions when we were out to see. Natalie our tour guide was absolutely well versed on the history of Santa Barbara and was very entertaining in the way it was presented by her. I thoroughly recommend it to her for anybody who is visiting Santa Barbara. You won't regret it!

So we were really looking forward to this tour. Nowhere on the website did it say that a minimum of 10 people is required for the tour to actually leave. 7 eager land sharkers were waiting for 25 minutes only to be disappointed. This is 2021; maybe you should consider taking reservations online and notifying people ahead of time so precious vacation time is not wasted.

Our group of 10 friends from Solvang had a great time and would highly recommend this wonderfully narrated tour of downtown Santa Barbara and the harbor. Two of us grew up in SB and learned things we did not know about our town history. Bravo to Landshark!!

Valley Professionals a networking group from Northridge scheduled an outing for the day. We rode up to Santa Barbara on Amtrak and scheduled a ride on the Land Shark on 9/9/23. 12 adults took the 2PM ride. First, a great tour of Santa Barbara, noting great restaurants and wine bars beside the historical side of town. We then drove into the bay and got a ride of our lives. What fun to be riding on the water, coming up close to sea lion resting on a buoy and the pelicans and seagulls resting on the rocks. A FUN day indeed. We highly recommend the Land Shark for an additional activity.

My boyfriend and I's first time in Santa Barbara and we had the best time on the Land Shark. Our wonderful tour guide Samantha (Sam Bear) was knowledgeable about the City, funny, and really engaging with us tourists. As we drove around, She recommended places to shop and eat. Our driver did a fantastic job driving us on both land and water. We got up close and personal with groups of sea lions and seals. I highly recommend this tour to everyone in the Santa Barbara Area! It was so cool to be able to take a tour on both land and sea!! A fun and unique experience!!

The Landshark is a very unique amphibious tour, as it cruises along the roads, passing by key building to visit, and diving into the water, acting like a boat. The tour guide was also very nice, humorous and knowledgeable. She gave the engraved coins to all the children. Occasional "mood" music was fun too. I would highly recommend this to first time visitors.

PS: This is a review from my lovely daughter who enjoyed her thanksgiving trip to Santa Barbara.

Looking forward to a 20th birthday party wasn't informed until after booking there is only a 21+ age limit, even though I have previously been on a private charter in which the company was informed all of the participants were underage as well as the fact it was a 20th birthday. The manager was very rude and kept referring me to their 'policy' which was not anywhere on the website, in the FAQ's, provided by her in any form, and the alcohol policy was not sent to me until a day after my booking only upon my request. Horribly organized company, rude managers, loose 'policies', misinformation on the website, overall do not book.

What an extraordinary adventure. The tour starts on land and then plunges into the Pacific Ocean! We were sent home the first day because there weren't enough tourists to board but we spoke with the driver and tour guide who gave us great information on what to do. The next day the tour was full and went as planned. The tour guide was natural at what she did. She explained many interesting artifacts including a huge tree that was brought over from Australia. I've never seen a tree of that magnitude in my life! She also explained the history of the city. She was very knowledgeable in sea life also. We spotted a sea lion on the ocean part of the tour and the driver brought us very close. Both the driver and the tour guide were outstanding and made the trip most enjoyable. Anyone coming to Santa Barbara needs to take this tour. It was great!
