White Lodge Hotel

WOW- I haven’t been for a while but what an improvement with the interior design! Absolute stunning “gentleman style” bar. greeted by two wonderful girls on Reception Gianne and Gracie. Lauren as always was fabulous and is always going above and beyond. It’s an absolute must!!!

We have just had 2 wonderful nights at this fantastic hotel. A Xmas gift from our sons. We stayed in the fabulous Sea view balcony room, the room and views were stunning. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely friendly staff. We relaxed in the lounge with a drink watching the world go by, bliss. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. My husband has recently been diagnosed with Dementia and MSA and all he asked as we left was to come back soon. Again thank you.

My wife and I stayed here whilst visiting Bempton Cliffs; our stay was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had - and that’s saying something! Friendly professional staff met us upon arrival, absolutely spotless and comfortable room, one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever encountered, (as indeed was the whole hotel), lovely, comfortable bar for pre-dinner drinks and a first class evening meal, (1 x venison and scallops, 1 x pan fried Brill). As other reviewers have already mentioned the breakfast was faultless and all meals were served with the customary friendly, relaxed professionalism. This is an unpretentious, exceptionally good hotel. I have visited, stayed, and eaten in plenty of 5* hotels that The White Lodge can and would put to shame. Keep on doing what you are doing! Special thanks to Joanne and Ellie (housekeeping), Gianna, Lauren, Tee-Jay, Albert, Amparo and Gracie who are “front of house”, and the invisible kitchen gang. What a team!

Comfortable rooms, just out of main town so very quite. Lovely views over Flamborough/Bempton cliffs, Filey Brigg and Filey bay. Most of the sands are cleaned twice daily as tide comes up to prom wall, making it clean and safe for kids bathing.

Lovely room with sea view and balcony. Excellent breakfasts, Christmas lunch and evening meals. The best local lobster pie ever! Friendly staff and relaxing drinks in the gardens in summer. Short walk down to the beach to walk off your meal.

Superb - everything!!! - staff, food, location; all of it - from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave. The place is spotless and no expense and thought has been spared. Will be back in the summer at the very earliest opportunity. I can write of no fault in any way with The White Lodge - just go and visit please. Simon & Tracey - Durham

We had two nights here staff helpful and lovely Took Sunday lunch on arrival that was nice Room we had was nice with sea view everything worked fine. Breakfast is great plenty of choice, full English undertaken delicious and well presented. It’s our third time here it’s recommended hotel white lodge from us. !

Staying at the WhiteLodge is a pleasure. The rooms are well presented, the cleanliness is excellent as is the food. I suppose we are now classed as regulars and love the ambience of the hotel and look forward to each and every stay. Upgrading of the en suites, bar and dining room is on going which is so good to see, when so many hotels are making cut backs. The staff are excellent and deserve special praise so all in all a great hotel. Highly recommended.

White Lodge is located overlooking the beautiful Filey Bay. The Manager Dean and his staff are lovely and friendly. The new bar decor makes it a very cosy place to enjoy the wide selection of drinks. We enjoyed a very nice 3 course meal in the restaurant.

Just spent two nights here for our twixmas treat. Lovely sea view room with balcony really comfortable bed and great spacious bathroom. Breakfast was brilliant offering cereal yoghurt fruit and then a good cooked breakfast with toast tea or coffee. Great view of Filey bay. We were able to park easily but would imagine in the height of summer a little more difficult.
