Another wonderful 3 weeks at this elegant, peaceful Paradise. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff - Tiziana and her team of ladies (Carla, Victoria, Claudia and Diana) are a joy, and the entire staff in every department are superb. They do everything to make our holidays a thoroughly fantastic occasion. There is nothing to dislike, and if you are looking for the ultimate luxury experience in every aspect, you won't find anywhere better in Adeje. Go and be spoiled! You will return - as I have, for many years.

Another wonderful stay, brilliant food, lovely room and an overall great experience. All staff are good but a special mention to Tiziana, Letitia and Diana. Also a special thank you for my husband’s freshly made omelette every day (sorry can’t remember chefs name).

Well we’re actually running out of good things to say about this stunning hotel, we stayed for One month in the Balconada area so you can imagine what we think of the place. Stayed many times before, if you’re looking for peace and tranquility then look no further. Rooms are traditional with the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Staff are always helpful with a positive attitude, shout out to - Maria Jose, Nathaly (Maids) Davide,Letica, Eliza, Besos, Carlos (Restaurants) Shiela, Diana, Johnathan (Balconada) Paula (reception). Think it speaks volumes when you know so many staff by name , would like to thank all of the above for making our stay memorable. Last but certainly not least this environment is created by a very special lady Tiziana who makes a huge difference to the hotel and is a huge asset to the hotel. Thanks again

This is the first time at this hotel, the hotel is beautiful the staff can’t do enough for you, all the staff were amazing, beautifull junior suite, nice little extras on Valentine’s Day was lovely, Buffett was stunning nice extra touch on the table there were a choice of a La carte dishes all cooked fresh to order, no extra charge, entertainment was great, only the flamnco dancers were the same as u always see, but guess once u have seen one you have seen them all, that’s just my personal opinion, I would get rid of the a la carte, only my husband and I and another couple in there, no atmosphere and was told that 7pm was the only time we could go, we spoke to a few couples and they said the same, was awful and no atmosphere, my husbands fillet steak was red raw in the middle after asking for it medium to well, he could t eat it so we finished and left, but would go back again as was very relaxing 😎 bit def not the a la carte, nice touches round the pool, drinks and ice reams brought round by the waiters 😎

I am in the fortunate position of staying at this hotel since 2012 and every time I’ve been it simply gets better and better. Tiziana sets the tone for the absolutely first class level of service that guests received with her assistant managers Claudia and Victoria following in the guest focused approach. Since I got married my wife has now stayed on 5 holidays and regards the hotel as a small piece of heaven on earth. The pool, the rooms, the restaurants: all these things are just of such a high standard. Special mention to Carlos, Letitia and Besik who looked after us do well in the restaurant as well as Roberto and Jonathon in the bar. This is truly the most wonderful hotel, lead by the amazing Tiziana and I am looking forward to returning in May for a special family occasion.

I return to this hotel every Christmas with my Mother, and before departure I always wonder if my experience in this hotel will still be the same as on my previous visits. I can honestly say that each time that I stay here it is as good as if not better than what I had experienced prior. The staff are absolutely lovely and more than that it is like returning home to see your family at Christmas. In particular Tizianna, and Claudia, as well as Leticia and Pedro in the restaurant. So welcoming, helpful, kind and friendly. I personally love the traditional style of this hotel, also as it is an Adults Only hotel, even if it is at full capacity you can still sit peacefully by the pool overlooking the sea. From the hotel terrace you have the most wonderful views of the ocean. This Christmas the weather was amazing, warm sunshine for the majority of our two week stay. I have already booked to return this year for my dose of winter sun. If I am being truly honest the only negative comment that I can add is that the taste of the food wasn't always great in the buffet restaurant. However, I did not eat in any of the other restaurants available within the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and I believe that the fact that the same people return year after year is a testament to how lovely it is.

So firstly, it is worth starting off by saying that there was an attempt to bully us at check out into signing a document that threatened us with charges if we left a negative review. This was not signed as I refused outright to sign it. I should point out at this stage that this was owing to an issue that arose and was not resolved, but by no means did we at any point communicate that we were upset or wanting to leave a negative review - this reflects usual and systemic practice on their part as opposed to desperate and reactive practice. It was just sprung upon us at check out. I wasn't going to leave a review at all, but alas, this is how I react to unethical practice. Another review, if you look deep enough, has highlighted the same attempted coercion. Ultimately it came down to cockroaches. Not one, not two but a few. Not in one room, not in two but in three. We were moved twice. Initially we saw a large cockroach run across the floor. We were lectured about large cockroaches not being a concern (it is the smaller ones that are a problem, they said). We were moved to a second room which we were told was an 'upgrade', but it was darker and did not have a wide balcony like the first. We asked if the same type of room we had booked was available. We were told it was either this supposed upgrade or back to the room with the cockroach. So we moved. That same night, more cockroaches. This time 2 small ones. We were given an industrial sized insect killer with instructions in Spanish, left at our door and were told to deal with it. Of course, we didn't use the spray - we had no idea how and didn't want to poison ourselves. So we called reception again and got moved once again. The first night, and by that time I was casing all the walls and dark corners, went well. But 6 am, and where do I find a cockroach? Under the toilet seat. The stuff nightmares are made of. At that stage, and with no other options, all we could do was accept the hotel's solution of placing wet cloths on all sink and bath drains and wait out our stay. This is what the hotel wanted us to sign the document over - threatening to charge us for the so called 'upgrade', which we did not even want. Regards other aspects, the El Mirador restaurant was exquisite - amazing food and service. The sunbeds and pool were lovely. The main restauraunt was average, and if you have any allergies beware - food is not accurately marked. The sauna is enjoyable, but needs to be prebooked and paid for. And staff were varied in their levels of friendliness with some outrightly unfriendly and others (staff at the pool) deeply friendly. The location of the hotel is optimal, close to the beach and with great views. Unfortunately, with the issues that arose, the balance of the experience between negative and positive was seriously skewed towards the former because of our check out experience. Being threatened with getting charged for something we didn't ask for, let alone want if we left a negative review makes me question the realness of the balance of reviews here overall. Perhaps there are many negative reviews missing because of such threats and practice. In summary, even without our experience of them trying to silence us and the bugs, the hotel has many good features, but is certainly not 5 star. We now go to a far superior hotel for our Tenerife trips twice a year.

Our first visit to this fabulous hotel, the staff are professional, friendly and a credit to the management. After a long flight we were welcomed at reception and immediately offered a drink. The hotel entrance is stunning and you instantly feel relaxed. All the staff made us feel welcome particularly Tiziana Marquez the assistant manager. The food is amazing and the attention to detail superb, little touches like rose petals, chocolates and fizz left in our room as it was our wedding anniversary, plus the complimentary cocktails, smoothies and ice cream whilst you are relaxing by the pool. We absolutely loved it here and have already booked for next year, so if you are thinking about booking go ahead you won't be disappointed.
