Clough Castle

Situated on the main road between Ballynahinch and Newcastle in the town of Clough. An excellent example of an Anglo-Norman castle with an added stone tower. You get great views of the surrounding area, especially the Mourne Mountains. Park in the Spar car-park, (excellent coffee at a reasonable price) the castle is a 1 minute walk away.

Stopped off at the castle on the way through the town. It is a pretty cool site and some of the castle is still standing! You would emily drive past it if you didn't know it was there!
