Prehen Woods

It is a charming walk in the wood just outside of Derry , at the end of Sandringham Drive.
There are 2 well marked walks.

took the wife and dog a walk about this small wooded area. actually live miles from the wood and didn't know it was even there. a wee hidden gem. very limited parking at the entrance as the main entrance is at recent of a housing estate. very nice walk, with beat track / paths to follow. only takes about 20mins to walk around. full of squrriel.

I’ve visited these woods a few times with my dog and we have always enjoyed ourselves. The woods are beautiful in an eerie sense and have always been quieter than other parks in the city.
