The Land of Legends Theme Park

5442 Reviews

Check out the action-packed atmosphere of The Land of Legends Theme Park. Besides your regular amusement park fare—gigantic roller-coasters and a memory-evoking merry-go-round—the complex features dozens of water rides, daily meet-and-greets, fountain shows, and parades. You can even interact with dolphins in shallow waters at Dolphin Encounter. Don't miss trying refined Eurasian cuisine at Nemo Restaurant & Lounge, which boasts stunning views of the aquarium. About 22 miles from bustling Antalya, the park makes an amazing day trip if you’re visiting the southern coast of Turkey. If one day is not enough, spend the night at The Land of Legends Kingdom Hotel. – Tripadvisor

We visited this park on our trip to Antalya in Turkey. We arranged the trip through a tour operator close to our hotel, the price was 70 euros per adult ticket which included transfer and the visit to the park. We were told this included soft drinks and food but this wasn’t the case.

First off we absolutely loved the water park, probably the best one I’ve been to. Lots of water activities for all ages, theme park rides and a dolphin show included in the ticket price. Before any water ride you are weighed (max weight is 120kg per person or 180kg between 2 people), we didn’t go to the dolphin show or to the theme park. The staff are friendly and helpful, not a lot of them speak English so we did have to improvise but not a massive problem.

There are lockers/changing facilities however we didn’t use these. We set up for the day at the wave pool, there’s a small locker (could easily fit phones, purses, cameras etc). We inserted a 50 cents coin and were able to leave our stuff with peace of mind. You are given a wristband upon entry to the park and you can put money on the wristband so you don’t have to carry your purse/wallet around with you.

Only downsides really is that the food and drinks are really expensive, we spent around 60 euros for 2 adults. That was 1 meal each and around 2/3 soft drinks each. Another downside was the floor, it’s really hard to walk on and quite painful but you can’t wear your flip flops when you’re in the queues for the rides at the water park so I’d recommend swim shoes as some people seemed to have these on. Another downside was covid related as nobody seemed to social distance (sometimes you can queue for 30+ mins for one ride), the staff do have Facemasks on however it was the other guests I was concerned about as we were in close proximity for a decent period.

Would definitely recommend coming here even if it’s just adults, definitely with children if you’re visiting Antalya or areas around the park. We had a really fun day.

Been here a few times and it doesn’t disappoint .. so much to do .., lots of fun.

Would recommend doing theme park upon arrival as far too long queue fit water slides.

Food is over priced fast food.. but it’s not the sort of day where u would sit and have long relaxing lunch! Too busy with lots of fun rides.

Would defo recommend!

Date of visit: Tuesday 11th October 2022.

It might seem expensive at first, but as long as you arrive in the morning, you can literally spend the whole day here; so much to see and do!

From what I saw: staff were plentiful, well-trained and professional at all times. Many spoke additional languages especially English, Russian and German. The place was spotless! Including all of the toilets. You get the feeling the place has been meticulously organised for guest-safety.

I highly recommend coming here if you are on holiday nearby, especially with children or teenagers. It’ll make your holiday worthwhile!

(For peace of mind; please read up on the wrist-bands, weight limits and closing times)

These people/ staff after paying to get in with my children having unlimited access to the water slides, after our non ethnic friends went to another/ bigger slide my children did not want to try thry refused to allow them to go down the same slide they had been enjoying that morning/ afternoon for no reason whatsoever & when questioned they pretend they can't understand & walk away laughing. Upon exiting the park when asked how was it I answerd your staff are racist & ruined our visit, when questioned i showed them the picture of the male who kicked my daughter off the slide forcing her to walk back down the stairway in tears saying shes not allowed & when i questioned him he laughed & walked off whilst radioing his staff friends to join in staring at the ethnic people & laughing as he tells them of his unjust refusal When management are told this & shown the picture they pretend they cannot place the staff member & then further exacerbate asking if you want to wait a few to talk about it further after hey deny knowing the male refusing a child access to a slide i paid for. So NO please don't go here, Travel out of belek its ridiculous & the town folk will follow you, kids & all adults try forcing you to wear old fashioned headwear that i suppose would make me look like a genie so please not here. I refuse to return to turkey with or without my children. Shop owners on the main roads are much better though and do not behave as such.

I purchased 2 tickets for the land of legends on the morning of the 7th of November 2019 via the internet so avoid hassle when we arrived. However, when I showed the staff my confirmation of booking they refused to let us in because they hadn’t received the payment from my bank even though I there was visible proof which included the PNR code. They told me I would have to purchase the tickets again and asked for my bank information so when the money came through from my bank they would refund me. It has been 3 Months now and I haven’t received a refund although I have reached out many a times, the hotel has failed to respond. In total, I have paid $100 for two tickets which is ridiculous.

The bad:
I booked a trip to Antalya and unfortunately broke my leg before my flight playing football. My wife and daughter was looking forward to visiting Land of Legends so I called and asked if it will still be ok. They said it will be fine, I will get a special map saying what water slides and roller coasters I can do. Not all but will be able to do some in each area. When I got there, the manager didn't even speak to me, said something in Turkish to his colleague and crossed out the entire aquapark. So essentially I paid £62 for each adult ticket to only get access to half the park.

The worst part was, every ride I went to, they would ask to see the map, then radio their manager and check if it was true (like I'm a liar). Everyone was getting annoyed as the ride was getting delayed as they waited for the manager to reply. Everyone in the que was getting annoyed as it took so long too. I wasted soo much time waiting for them to confirm with their manager in every single ride once in the beginning of the queue and once again before getting on the ride. Even though they can see I'm tired from having to stand on my broken leg in the very long qeues already, they thought let's make his life harder and make him stand longer.

The inconsistencies were crazy aswell. I went on their hypercoaster and typhoon coaster (their bigger rides) but I can't sit in their 5D cinema because the seat moves and sprays water on you.

When I called before the trip, I also asked about my daughter. They said she needs to be a minimum of 90cm and she will be able to go on the rides. What they didn't mention is that she will only be able to go on 2 rides as she needs to be 95 to 100 to go on the vast majority of kids rides. She is young but they made it sound like they cater for her age group. They really don't.

They said what they needed to say to get me to go there and waste my money. Once there, they repeatedly made us feel like we weren't wanted there and constantly getting embarrassed. I don't have a disability, my leg is just temporarily broken. I am mortified thinking if this is how they treat people who have any mobility issues. If they told me this is what my experience would be like, I would definitely would not have gone. Lies and faulty advertising.

The good:
The hypercoaster was good.

The dolphin show is a must.

The wristband paying system is very convenient.

My daughter absolutely loved the Masha and the Bear show.

Two staff members were excellent. The lady doing the basketball game actually came out and poured water on the floor so I can put my broken leg down when taking my shot as she could see it was an issue. A different manager called Haldum (I think) saw how I was being treated at one of the rides and quickly told the staff to let me on. Atleast there was a few staff members with some decency.

I visited the park with my friend. A family of 4 with 2 children intentionally coughed on my friends and I. We placed a complaint with the hotel security and life guard and we were completely ignored. We tried to complain to the managers and they tried to kick us out and let the family stay and get on the rides. As this was clearly wrong, a group of girls intervened and defended that the family be kicked out. Only after 1 hour and the children being on multiple rides the escorted them to another side of the resort

Well worth a visit to this theme park. It is very well laid out, lots of things to do for every age and good value for money. Very clean and easy to find your way round. Don't miss the sea life show, it's amazing. You are given a wrist band on entry and you can load money onto it to use during the day for lockers, food etc any unused money is refunded at the end of your visit.
Also, next to the Theme Park is a huge shopping mall that is free to enter and has lots of shops to suit every pocket and taste. They also do daily shows along the main mall area and canal this is free from dance routines with fairy tale characters and music set to dancing fountains. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing day with my partner and friends. The rollercoasters feel so safe and sturdy, can honestly say they were smoother than in the UK so it was much more enjoyable and fun! The water slides were also amazing! They have a super wave pool and a lovely infinity pool with a glass surround so you can get photos. You put money into a wristband and spend it as you go so you don’t need to carry cash. We were there for one day so didn’t get chance to take full advantage of the shows and swimming with dolphins or the shopping avenue. If you want to go and do everything you’ll need two days! Food was also great and greatly priced!

Well, it was a HUGE park! I had never been in such a big amusement or aqua park before! AMAZING! The rides were fantastic and the slides in aqua park were so much exciting! I could spend a whole day there! Everything was excellent except the very looooong waiting times for the slides or other rides. We went at 12 and left around half past 5 and only managed to get on two rides in the amusement park and 3 slides in the aqua park because the park was packed with people and there very long lines for each slide or ride. We spent on average 20 min waiting in line for each ride or slide which made us bored and frustrated. However, you can pay more and get fast track tickets. One more thing is that drinking and eating is so much expensive there. You should pay 90 TL for a soda when you can get that for 40 or 30 TL outside, same thing for food and even water. Water is 5 TL outside but it was 25 TL in the park. All prices were doubled or tripled. You can have two good meals at a good restaurant with the money you spend on eating and drinking there. I would suggest if you go there take some water and snacks with you because the security at the entrance won't take it from you.
