Went here for an early morning swim and to watch the sun rise behind the hill. Nice looking cove, but sandy beach covered in cigarette butts and thorns.
Turtles and fish below you whilst you swim and also sea bed pretty interesting. Have a look you'll see what I mean.
Nice for a swim and also a cheap breakfast, but wear water shoes.
it was nice as a beach but the camping place “çaylı camping” was sooo bad restrooms were always dirty. The woman who runs there was so mean we definetely werent happy with our journey
Show more...This is a dark/sharp sand beach which the locals use, and although you still pay to get into the car park and for a sun lounger, it’s cheaper than other beaches.
There’s a small cafe which seems reasonable (we only had drinks), there are showers/changing areas also.
After trying others though we prefer Gunluklu beach only a few more km down the D400 (nice wooden sun loungers/parasols, gardens, soft sand, cafe lounge area, calm water), and Patara beach (good small surf, soft sand, nice cafe). The beach at Gocek Island (accessible via water taxi) was ok (stoney beach, small and rough stone area with clear water which was a bit better for snorkelling), but you are forced to pay to have a sun lounger each (we only needed 2 loungers for the 4 of us) - and also you have to pay for each person to swim in the water and use the facilities - Gunluklu doesn’t impose such rules.
We are here begining of June , there is no Dolmus , it stops at the motorway but it's a very long walk to the beach so we took a taxi, it's approx 4 k from Gocek.
Nice black sand beach , clear clean water, picnic tables, cafe sunloungers and umbrellas for 10 lira hire.
WC' S Showers .
If you want a nearby beach for the day it's very nice , it wasn't crowded.
This is the nearest real beach to Gocek on the coast. It is a black sand beach with a beautiful sea in a large bay. There is a pay car park (cheap) and facilities on the beach including a very good little cafe. Well worth a visit to both beach and cafe.
Show more...From May to October, it's very popular for local people. On the left side (if you look at the sea) there's stream come and water is very cool at that area. Cooling place for summer.
Show more...A lovely beach. Very nice little restaurant on the beach with charming and helpful staff.
Lovely omelettes, good salad, great Turkish coffee. The beach was not crowded at all in mid-June. Lovely clear water and surrounded by fields. Very few, if any, tourists but lots of Turkish families enjoying the beach with their children and relatives. Clean loos and changing rooms just behind the restaurant, otherwise there is nothing on the beach.
Highly recommended but no dolmush going to this beach - you need a car or take a taxi as we did.
Only 5 min drive (with dolmus at 3.5Turkish lira) from Gocek town. lovely beach with sunbeds (10 Lira per person). They have shower, toilets, changing facilities on the beach. if you have car you pay only 10 Lira for parking. restaurant on the beach is also very nice.
Show more...This beach is run by the municipality and has small snack restaurant, sun beds etc.
The beach is small pebbles, but child safe. Relaxing venue to spend a family day.
Small parking charge. 15 minutes drive from Gocek.
