After a not so pleasant stay at a 5 star hotel in Bodrum i decided to take my family to see the dolphins and have a truly memorable experience.
We arrived at the dolphin park and it was not what i expected, we were ushered to a photo booth where i had to pay more money for photos with the dolphins and this was on top of the 250 euros i had already paid.
I explained that my little boy was too young to swim with the dolphin but if he could feed them then that would be great! There was no time to settle, we were quickly ushered to the platform and the dolphin was brought out of the water and my son was given two fish to feed them.
My wife asked if he could possibly feed more fish, but was rudely told that there was no more fish in the bucket and as we walked away the trainer threw the contents of the bucket into the water with fish clearly visible.
My wife asked if she could swim with the dolphins and we were told that i had to pay another 50 euros for this to happen. By this time my wife and son were so upset by the rudeness and extreme lack of empathy showed by the staff!!
In total we were there 15mins and they wanted over 300 euros for this experience. We could not wait to get out of there and the experience devastated the last day of our holiday.
The hotels in Bodrum should not be offering this service and should hang their heads in shame!! though the dolphins are amazing mammals the owners and staff of this park are a disgrace!!
My wife and son were made to feel worthless and the Turkish government need to close down this park at once!!
Do not waste your time and do not give your money to these people!!!!

Great experience for me and one of my kids (3yrs old)!
Considering it’s a business, salaries have to be paid and the dolphins need to be cared I assume the price is fair. Misunderstandings generated by the guide not telling from the beginning that you need to pay extra for photos, even with you own device. But this os not a problem generated by the park.
The staff there is nice, the trainers also!
I recommend it!

We came with two kids 4 and 10 y.o. Paid Euro 200 for two rides which take around 10 min (2 min ride and some photo moments). The younger kid was hesitant and I asked if she can take 2 min to adapt and not to jump into the water. Was told that there is no time for this. Asked again but the guys were pushy and said that I have to go by myself because they do not have time. We did not want to force the kid but after we went out we asked the manager that we would expect the staff to be more attentive. What happened next was difficult to predict. The guy who works with dolphins cane to us, was insulting us and being rude and aggressive. The manager was trying to apologize but the day was ruined. Thus we would not recommend visiting this place.

The brochure showed us this beautiful setting, where dolphins are as close to their natural habitat as could be!

Well, that couldn’t be the furthest from the truth!!

As soon as we arrived, I was unpleasantly surprised by the entrance to the dolphinarium( through a working restaurant). Obviously the people in charge are hoping to milk every unaware tourist.

I’ve booked the tickets through a concierge service within the five star hotel that I was staying in.

The young man who sold me this experience admitted not to have been to particular dolphinarium, but insisted that it would be amazing!

Long story short, we were appalled by the conditions these wonderful smart animals have to live in! From rusty cages to the small enclosure they are kept in.

I do hope that this establishment gets shut down.

They should not be allowed to operate .

I would definitely not recommend this to anyone !

We were there on 17th of July. Show not really proffessional, we saw much better, dolphines apparently are not treated well as they have scars in their noses. Price was too high, that was not a surprise as we knew it in advance but to our suprise we had to pay $35 to make photos by our camera. Not worth it and a bit boring, i do not recomnend it

This place is great for unique experience to swimm with dolphins. Our childer were very happy to touch, swimm, hugh and kiss the dolphins.
The dolphins are in their natural habbitate, in the sea.

I feel so bad that I gave money to this awful establishment. The dolphins had marks on them and the enclosure was tiny. They were obviously treated poorly and the staff were rude and told us we couldn’t take pictures of our family unless we paid 25 euros each. Please never come here.

My partner and daughter went to this park today 15/8. A shambles from minute they walked through gates. Pushing and shoving. When she finally got to swim with dolphins my partner went to take photos and was told rudely NO you pay for them before. This was never explained to them when entering park girl at desk could not speak English. So what was meant to be an unforgettable experience was disappointing as she only got around 4 minutes swimming and no photos for memories. We paid £95 for this and not 1 photo.

I took my friend Wendy to the Bodrum Dolphin park it was for her 50th birthday. The transfer took us to the park when we got there it all seemed a bit rushed and every little thing photos were charged for and taking videos too. Then we were herded into the enclosure and couples of people got into the water and swam around twice with the dolphins in a small circle the enclosures were small. Then a few customers fed the dolphins this was extra too. Then we were all herded out and were ferried back to the bus. I thought it was a lot for £84 pounds a person. You may be better doing other things. But the stars of the show were the dolphins. Though you didn't get a show. And the disappointing part was the money grabbing humans running the park.

I think positive reviews wrote this park employers about self, because wrote about this place - Awesome experience in a wonderful place, these are lies. We paid 140eur (for 1 adult + 1 child), terrible transfer from hotel with 45 min delay, any show with dolphins was not, for 5 years old child doing in this place nothing, only what we got for experience, is 2-3 min ride for adult (two rings) with dolphin and some pictures in CD for additional 25 eur. If you want spend 165 eur, spend for charity, it's will be better and you will feel better after it, how spend money for this place.
