Emergency Exit Escape Rooms

We played both the Exorcist and Poltergeist rooms today, and can say they were some of the best rooms we've played - and we've played quite a lot! Atmosphere in both were spooky but brilliant, with nice hidden secrets.

The two lads running the rooms today were very friendly and thorough in terms of how each room is played, safety, stories behind the rooms etc.

Would highly recommend!

From start to finish we were made welcome. Even though we were 30minutes early they allowed to into the room early. The game itself was just the right amount of tricky with some puzzles that were slightly unusual compared to some rooms I’ve played previously. Once we had escaped the hosts weren’t in a rush for us to leave and we had a conversation about the other rooms and future plans for the venue. Unlike some horror escape rooms this room plays on your fears and tailors jump scares to the players in the room. The props inside the room were well displayed and well maintained and the written elements of the room were clear and easy to read. Fantastic room and fantastic hosts. We will be back to play all other other rooms here!

We visited in November 2021 on lads' night out. The thrill / excitement builds as soon as you enter main the door because the place looks spooky (in a good way). We booked the exorcist room & wow it didn't disappoint. One of the big things I loved about this room is it included lots of physical challenges like crawling through tunnels from one room to another. (There are doors for people who are not good with mobility or closed spaces).

I have been to another escape room in the past & I have to admit this place is miles of ahead of any others. We were looked after by the owner of the escape room who was really welcoming. You could tell from just speaking to him how much passion he has for what he does.

We are currently planning on booking again for next month. I am hoping this time the owner will take me up on my offer of making funeral director / mortuary themed room!! ;)

We were spending a weekend away as a family, and had decided to visit the imperial war museum in Manchester whilst away. Having my nearly 11 year old son in tow, I knew he would find it rather dull, so we wanted to combine it with something exciting for him to do on the day aswell. By chance, I came across this escape room online whilst searching for inspiration in the area, and it certainly did not disappoint! It was a fantastic first introduction to escape rooms for my son, not too scary, and whilst not easy, (we needed hints!) certainly not too difficult for him either. In fact, he managed to figure out some things us adults didn't!
The rooms themselves were visually great, with an eerie feel to them. The hosts were great,very friendly, very accommodating when we arrived abit early. The room kept us all very engaged from start to finish, and time flew by. Even though we had the full hour as only escaped with minutes to spare, we could happily have stayed longer and it was a shame it was over!
Also extremely reasonably priced compared to other rooms we have seen or visited, which in my book adds massive bonus points due to making it far more of a viable option for families. We live down south in Dorset, but if we happen to be up that way again, we will definitely pay another visit! Thankyou!

Our group of six had a great time in The Exorcist room, five had not done an escape room before so weren't sure what to expect. The atmosphere and props were great and the puzzles varied in difficulty, becoming more challenging as the game progressed, building up to a finale that involved the whole group. The interaction with the host was great and funny, he obviously enjoys his role. We'll definitely be back for the other rooms and would highly recommend this for a fun, enjoyable experience.

Amazing fun had today at this hidden gem of a place ! Hidden is the key word to keep this place special. We booked this as a secret treat for our daughters 16th birthday with the family. Spooky but not ridiculously scarey to suit our needs with an 11 year old with us.
The spirit guide host was brilliant with clues when we needed, to keep us flowing.

We have just played the well recommended exorcist online game. It was absolutely fantastic - I have played 200+ rooms and was super super impressed with Ronnie (our avatar) and Liam (our cameraman). Having played several games online during lockdown - this was hands down the BEST I have played. The interaction between avatar and players was seem less it was as though we were in the room playing. Wonderful puzzles, game play and delivery were top drawer. Highly recommend and cannot wait to try the next game The Beast.

My husband and I visited for the first time, for what turned out to be our 59th escape room, after seeing some recent good reviews on Facebook.

Our good experience started on booking, when the guys let us book for a time that wasn’t available on the website (we needed a specific time to fit in with a cinema trip nearby).

In terms of the room itself, the excitement started from the second we stepped inside the front door. Excellent theming, and a very immersive start.

We did the Exorcist room which was very spooky (although I am a massive wimp), and had quite a few jump scares…so beware!

This was definitely up there in terms of quality and theming. Lots of story in there, nice logical puzzles, great mix of locks and tech, and just an overall great experience.

Will definitely be visiting again to take on the other two rooms, once I’ve built up the nerve!

My team played the Exorcist room this evening virtually and absolutely loved it! I’ve played a few virtual games so far in lockdown and this one is firmly among my favourites. Fantastic hosting, great internet connection (makes such a difference!!), great game and a beautifully made set. You can tell the team put a lot of effort into this. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience, so much fun and made it with one minute to go. Hosting was great, we did the Exorcist as a family, I found it hilarious, watching my husband and daughter jump and scream, evil I know, but even the nervous ones really enjoyed it. This was my first escape room, although my daughters have done others before and said this was by far the best. Well done to all that work there and make it such a friendly place to visit, you was fantastic as a host. Will be returning to do a different room soon.
