Wings Cappadocia Hotel

We had a fantastic stay in the Wings hotel Cappadocia, we stayed for our honeymoon and were treated so well by the wonderful staff there, they are such wonderful people and couldn't have helped more with planning trips (balloon ride etc). We had a lovely room which was very luxurious and had a great size bed which was extremely comfortable and the room was kept very clean throughout our stay. There are great panoramic views from the rooftop seating area where you can watch the sun set. Breakfast was wonderful, full of local cuisine. Hakan and his team/family were so accommodating. The area is very convenient for visiting Uchisar Castle and Gerome is just down the road. There are some great places to eat surrounding the hotel. We would highly recommend staying at Wings!

Hospitality at its best! From the minute we stepped in to wings Cappadocia. We were amazed by the Hospitality from Hakan and his team! Mornings were a pleasant wake up ☀️ especially to the freshly prepared Turkish breakfast. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the town with breath taking views from the rooftop terrace. The location is also centralised with restaurants close by to walk too!

We had a pleasant stay. I booked our rooms after a big holiday so the hotel was almost empty and quiet. The rooms and the breakfast were very good. The owners were very polite and resourceful. Couple things to mention, if you are booking online, make sure you call them if you prefer to stay in a room with a window. Remember, this is a cave hotel. Unfortunately, when I reserved online, I did not see it anywhere in the room description. My wife and I did not have any problem with that. But our guests were not comfortable staying in a room without a window. Although they found another room for them we decided to switch the rooms. That night, the air-conditioner in our room had a problem. The owner (Hakan) was kind to offer us another room which was larger and better. I definitely recommend this hotel. You can watch the air balloons from the rooftop terrace. It is lovely to sit and watch the sunrise and sunset from there.

A bit of a late review. Stayed 3 nights The location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance from everything The host was really nice, the breakfast was detailed, unique and tasty. Views from the rooftop were just lovely. Booking was easy with a quick response on Whatsapp The rooms were lovely as you can see online A cafe right opposite the hotel had some good food Hired a car from Ankara and driving down made life much easier. Will definitely recommend a stay, hassle free, comfortable and a great place

Had a beautiful experience at this hotel! From the memorable cave-adjacent location (super close to excellent restaurants and walking trails), to the stunning views from the upper decks, enjoyed every moment exploring the property’s compact grounds (be prepared for some basic stairs, but nothing crazy at all). The hospitality level here is super intimate and personalized; I loved the sweet & savory Turkish ingredients, featuring a few local ingredients and memorable locations (that rose-infused jam was divine). Also appreciated the home-cooked eggs, far better than most restaurants I’ve been to lately (likely for being cooked in butter/ghee (at least that’s what my tastebuds detected). Also the owner easily helped me organize a taxi on my departure day and ensured I’d be able to pay with a visa, super helpful. From the intimacy of the property + attention to guests to the spectacular views (also one loving hotel dog), would happily return if given an opportunity and recommend to others visiting Cappadocia.

We spent three wonderful nights at Wings Cappadocia. The rooms are well furnished, the staff were very welcoming . The breakfasts were amazing! The location of the hotel is perfect. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We will definitely be back!

There is no other choice to plan and host your Cappadocia hot air ballooning , sightseeing and dining adventure!

This is such a beautiful, serene place - you sleep in a cave, yet have all the comforts of a luxury boutique hotel. The breakfast area and terraces are stunning, the couple who run it and the nighttime concierge cannot do enough for you, brimming with advice and tips on trips and things not to miss in this amazing part of the world!

All the pictures you see are accurate, I don’t need to go over that. The location is quiet, safe and where a lot of the other upscale establishments are located. If thats what you are looking for in a hotel then this is the place to be. I dont see having to spend more money in other similar hotels when you probably wont be in your room all day. The hotel is well appointed, functional, and nicely decorated. They have a huge outdoor area in the top floor where you can just spend time relaxing and lounging. The small touches in and round the property is really what makes it so charming. What really gave this hotel a 5 star In my book is SERVICE! Thats what Hakan and his team delivers. Hakan used to work for the Four Seasons in Istanbul so world class service runs through his veins. From the moment I started emailing him to the time of departure, he and his team has delivered high quality service. He has staff around the clock and the star of the hotel is Bella their spaniel who is super cute and friendly. One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the breakfast. I am an extremely healthy eater and am very picky with my food, the breakfast here is well done, it has something for everyone even for the healthy picky eaters. I looked forward to a healthy delicious breakfast prepared by his wife and the informative conversations with Hakan every morning. Some tips I would like to share, book a room with a window especially for those who like natural light. Consider hiring a driver 65 Euros if you know the areas that you want to visit instead of doing the private tour 300 Euros. We ended up getting the private tour, our guide was Memish (sorry if I spelled wrong), he is good but be aware that part of the tour would be visits to a jewelry store, carpet store and ceramic/pottery store. You will end up spending hours here because they are impressive and you end up buying things that you didn’t plan to do and they are not cheap. Make sure you are able to decline those stops or you are disciplined enough to stop by and go quickly. My advise is not go if you really have no interest or money to buy. It just consumes hours ways from other things that maybe worth checking out. Please see my review of Bazaar 54 in Avanos/Nevsehir which is the Turkish rug store that is one of the stops for the guided tour, I had a bad experience which I have detailed in my review in TA and Google, buyer beware. This of course is not a reflection of Wings but for future folks that might end up getting the guided tour and lured into this store.

It's a beautiful cave hotel, right from welcoming us to room cleanliness, hospitality, food. We are all vegetarians and they made a great food for us, it's a totally homely feel. Thank you team Wings Cappadocia .
