Not having any facility to fire guns in the UK on a recent trip to Miami we called into Lock and Load.
We were met by a very nice lady who took her time to explain what we could expect and what was available for my wife and I to fire.
The choice was amazing and having chosen our package with a few changes and additions we were led in to the firing range an to meet Fabian.
What an unbelievable experience made all the better by Fabian who took his time to not only explain the operation of each weapon, but its history and where in when it has been used - all very interesting.
The whole experience was not cheap, indeed to fire one round of the Barrett M82, was $50 alone, but well worth it.
A big thank you to Fabian

This place is great! I'm an avid gun fan and my dad is not (but doesn't dislike them), and we both had so much fun.
Shooting firearms from all over the world was so cool, and the instructors were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Our instructor was Chris, who broke down each gun in pretty great detail to show the pros and cons of each gun, and made us both very confident in shooting! We shot a pretty big variety of guns, like the big SAW machine gun, the .50 caliber Barrett, SCAR, Vectors, and more.
The P90 was probably one of my favorite firearms to shoot, though once you start holding the trigger and the guns start really shooting they're all a blast.
Prices are available in a bundle or 'a la carte' where you can build your bundle of 3+ guns how you want. Expect to drop some money, guns can be individually rented for around 70 to 100 dollars for 25 rounds. It's honestly worth it however, and I would definitely recommend going with a friend/family as getting to watch them shoot is almost as much fun as shooting yourself. Thanks for the great time!

It was a fantastic experience going there People in there are very nice and helpful plus they have instructors both for english and spanish speakers. In my opinion this experience is worth every cent, specially if it's your first time shooting, I strongly recommend it to everyone.

As germans we have never used a gun bevor. Brian explained us everything from the holding of a gun to the finally shooting. We choosed the basic packages and it was so much fun! The price may seem a little high but its definitely worth the money, its not just shooting you also get instructions to the different guns and how to use them safe.
Next time when I visit Miami I will come again and try other types of weapons! The whole staff is very kind and the waiting area is like a museum with so much different weapons. We truly enjoyed our visit and recommend this experience!

Max was really great at making us comfortable and handling a newbie and a semi-experienced shooter. Very calm and great to load all of the weapons. Front desk person (Veronica) was very patient and helpful. It’s not cheap, but neither is running an operation like this and you can shoot guns that only the special forces have access to. Loved the .50 cal and the silencer. Highly recommend, we actually came in once and went to the museum for free and regretted not shooting - now that’s rectified. Goes to show you a patient customer experience pays off!

I recommend lock and load Miami to anyone who might be even mildly interested in guns. They have packages for all ages. Even my little brother (13) got to shoot some amazing fully automatic 9 mm guns. Our instructor Will taught us all about gun safety and the history behind each firearm. In the lobby there is a museum where I can hold a bunch of prop guns and take some amazing pictures. Lock and load Miami is no joke one of the coolest places I’ve ever been and I will definitely go there again someday.

As soon as you walk in it’s a great experience. I love the waiting area and unlike a lot of other gun ranges in Miami this teams values your business. We worked with Max who was patient, detailed, super safe, and really made the experience amazing. I was always nervous about shooting machine guns but he made you feel very confident and sure. We will definitely be going back and we’ve already told a bunch of friends. Thank you Lock & Loaded. #TeamMax

My Husband (Brent) & I visited Lock & Load, Miami on the last day of our holiday. Brent wanted to shoot but I was just a guest & it was brilliant! Brent chose a machine gun package plus a Glock add on. Fabian was Brent's instructor & he was amazing, very informative, knowledgeable & reassuring, thank you Fabian for making our last day here one Brent nor I will forget! We would both highly recommend Lock & Load for anyone looking for a shooting experience where you will gain knowledge along with fun!!!

First and for most thank you guys for having me and showing me such a good time. I also would have to s/o to the homie Kevin for the experience. He's super knowledgeable about firearms and we also shared a few laughs and stories pertaining to them as well. By the way the fact that you get a brief history of the gun your going to shoot is dope. Sorry for not remembering your names, but the two ladies at the counter were very professional and respectful. Thanks again for your time and thanks for the stickers!

If you like guns and need something to do besides the beach, Lock & Load makes a great afternoon. They have a great selection of modern and historic firearms that you can shoot. Their predesigned Gun packages start at $140 and go up from there, depending what you want to shoot. You can also build your own package, but this tends to be slightly more expensive, and you have to choose at least three long guns. They have handguns that you can add to any package, although you can’t build a package of just handguns.

There they give you a menu (of awesome guns), and start the process. Once your server has explained the basics you can go over to a wall of replica guns that you can handle to help you pick your weapons. We arrived early in the day, and we had a short wait of 20-30 minutes. While you are waiting they have a small but interesting game collection of firearms in cases with historical data about them. They bill this as a ‘museum’ although I think this would disappoint if you weren’t already their and just killing time until your turn on the range.
