Great guides. Fun experience. The campground had a band playing while we were zipping, which made for a great atmosphere. They have about 8 zips and the guides employ a line that stops you, so it isn't necessary to wear gloves and brake yourself. It's a very physical job for them, and they do a great job of making you feel safe. Because they stop you, it takes the pressure off and allows people to practice some tricks while they zip. Very fun!

We stayed three nights and it is lovely property. The reservation system is wonky. I reserved a full hook up over a month ahead and a week later got cancelled. We were put in the overflow area which provides water and electric. Upon arrival our neighbors had taken up three spaces squeezing out the folks that should have been next to us. To accommodate them, the manager put them in a full hook up spot! Funny how they did not have that spot for us. Everything worked out fine in the end. But that system needs work.
The shower rooms were nice to use. The trails were lovely. We did not use the zip line.
My only advice would be to make sure you get the spot you want and keep confirming.

The mountain is beautiful but in the campground there is only 2 bathrooms for more than 30 campers to share. My family was there for 6 nights and the whole time the bathrooms were never cleaned the day I got there I saw a paper towel on floor behind heater and it was still there the day I left. Nothing for kids really do like a pool or playground. For 50.00 a night the amenities are limited like picnic table or sewage you have to upgrade to more expensive site.

This is a great place to come too. We had a full pull thru hook up. There was great Wifi hook up it had great speed so one could do online work here, with a great view of nature. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff was super supportive. the bath house/toilets where clean. I hope they build more as they get more customers staying there. Hope they put in a swimming pool at some point, again depends on customers to support it though. The campsite we had needed just a bit more Soil and leveling. We had standing water out side our doors. This made for having to watch your step so you would not get the red clay all over your shoes and track it in. We visited nearby Lookout Mountain and Chickamauga. wish we could have strayed longer and be able to take in the park itself. As I said it appears as a new campground just needs a bit of improvements, other sites around us did not appear to have the same problem.

The tent section is nice, we've stayed a few times in tents. The RV section has become a territorial trailer park that doesn't welcome visitors. The regular, full-timers are very rude and threatening. Beer cans laying around and the area smelled of pot constantly. Definitely not family oriented. We won't go back. Almost $150 for 2 nights, a total waste because we didn't feel safe or comfortable enough to even leave the camper. Looking over our shoulder to even walk to the bathroom. No one has reached out to us after our weekend to apologize or to at least try to make things rightand they were aware. (Locals stick together, I guessand feel that drinking, drugs & gun threats are okay.) Save your money & go elsewhere. I have videos of the harassment by RV "residents" and more photos to show the trashiness upon request. This used to be a really nice place that we highly recommended to our friends and family.

We used this service for dinner one night & then to a show at the Caverns the next day. Sheila was 10 min early on both occasions & did an outstanding job keeping the vibe going.
Would highly recommend her. We definitely will use her again when we come back.

Great place to kick back and relax, or if you are feeling adventurous try zip lining. Stay overnight or a few days and take in a show at the Caverns (The best music venue in the Southeast). Let Shuttle Shelia, or Dan the Man drive you there and back safely! I highly recommend. Staff is friendly, helpful! Check it out!

This was our second time going to Bigfoot Adventure to do the zip line. We have stayed at the RV park and tent camped in the past, but not in the seasons when the Zipline is available so we came back to do it. All four of my kids ages 7-15 had a blast! The guides were funny, engaging and kind. We will be back for sure!

Ziplining for the win! 8 different lines take you over water and through the woods. Guides show you how to do different things from front flips to pushing off to go faster to hanging upside down. There is also a 9 hole disc golf course, and plenty of space for campers and just camping. Great time at very reasonable prices.

Definitely will be back. I’ll try to be specific and brief. Beautiful and massive land. Manicured and well groomed camper spots. Bathhouses, the most updated and good looking full units (shower, sink, toilet in one) and they were meticulously cleaned MANY times through the day. We had two dogs and it was wonderful that we could take long walks on trails that began with gravel roads and could veer off to atv trials while the dogs did what dogs do, sniffing and chasing. There is an awesome bluff with an incredible valley view. There are multiple nice kayaking destinations close and we had our bike so we enjoyed riding the backroads that twisted and turned. There are only two of those bathrooms so hopefully the owners will add more. I can only imagine a half full park and the madness that will ensue with only two bathroom units. We were one of maybe 4 occupants so it wasn’t bad.

Spots are packed in. Unfortunately they wanted to get as much bang for buck so if you have neighbors you will hear Them and see the backside of their camper if you sit in a chair right outside yours.
No trees in the immediate grounds. High wind gusts and constant sun in august may be issued so be aware. Long spots! I was able to park my truck in front of camper and bike behind and still have plenty of room. Not enough picnic tables for each spot. Staff=pleasant. Good people. 10/10 will be back!
