I will start by stating it is a Beautiful hotel with welcoming staff, however there are issues to be aware of. We were on the first floor which is a good walk from reception Facilities in the room caused issues: TV - instructions for use not clear ( infact someone had to come and turn it on and give instructions on the use of the 2 controls) Coffee machine - whilst new wouldn’t work and had to be replaced Reception / concierge/ room service- rang all three to obtain help with TV - no reply. Eventually got a response from the Restaurant staff ! Breakfast - continental is the best option with plenty of choice. Cooked breakfast comes on burning hot plates which rather suggests it has been there for a while.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but it is the service that stands out. The staff is so friendly and professional it just makes the whole experience fantastic. We had dinner at Torrish and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The Ness Island walk is very close and a lot of fun. We highly recommend Ness Walk and would absolutely return.

Wow. What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. From the minute we were greeted at the airport by our chauffeur, who was so friendly and very informative of the area. The warm and very friendly welcoming by all the ness walk staff, the champagne reception was a lovely touch, the beautiful oak room with amazing views of the river ness, the absolutely mouthwatering food at the beautiful torrish hotel, and the delicious afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 out of 10. We were very sad to leave but can’t wait to go back.

Wow! Definitely a 5 star experience What a lovely stay we had at Ness Walk.We have been lucky enough to stay at quite a few top hotels in Scotland and Ness Walk is up there with the best. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Concierge "Mark"we were made feel very welcome. The glass of champagne on arrival is a lovely touch! Very impressed by Head concierge "Steve"taking time to acknowledge that this was a second visit by us.The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. A lovely idea the welcome back note and sweeties left in room.I really liked the bath and separate shower combination so often missing now as more and more hotels only have showers. The evening meal was superb Friendly ,helpful maitre d' "Kevin" made sure everything was just right.Beakfast was also top class.Staff were all super helpful and friendly.Special mention for receptionists Tracey and Magnus who were efficiently greeting everyone with a happy smile.Would highly recommend a stay here.We will definitely be back !

From the moment we parked the car the porter immediately greeted us. We were then taken through to the lounge for a welcome drink in front of the fire. The hotel is obviously decorated to a high standard. However, it is the hotel team that made our stay extra special. We had dinner on our first night, and the highlight was the apple and blueberry souffle. The breakfasts were superb, a huge thank you to Gary for letting us take home some of his delicious homemade marmalade. Thanks also to Kevin for his hospitality and recommendation to visit the Singleton distillery, which was incredible. We hope to be back soon.

The service in this hotel is mostly very good with particular mention to housekeeping, concierge and front of house. Rooms are large and well equipped. We stayed for 4 days and our room was right outside the lift and the fire exit so a little noisy! What really let this hotel down was breakfast service and it is for this reason I have given it only 3 stars. On my first day there were no glasses or bowls and we had to search for someone to bring some, the fruit juice then ran out and we had to ask for this to be replenished. I asked the waiter for some brown bread with my smoked salmon and he returned from the kitchen with two slices of white processed bread!! I asked if they had any brown bread and he said no, yet our toast which arrived later was brown bread! My poached eggs on toast arrived as soft boiled eggs. There was no one obvious running the breakfast service and dishes were removed slowly from tables. Second day ordered scrambled egg on toast, scrambled egg arrived without toast and after asking three separate people for toast when it finally arrived the scrambled egg was uneatable . I was asked if I wanted something else but my husband had finished eating much earlier so I declined. Still absence of anyone running the service, I heard someone next to me ask the waiter if they were short staffed their reply was no. Third day still issues with the buffet breakfast no juice, glasses, bowls, small plates. My cooked breakfast arrived whilst I was still eating fruit and yogurt. The waiter said “this plate is hot” and waited for me to lift my bowl. When I did he placed the plate down and walked away leaving me holding a bowl with no space on the table to put it. I had to abandon eating the rest of it and had to get up and find an empty table to place this. The last day which was the Monday in contrast was very good there was someone clearly running breakfast and he managed it well so everything ran smoothly, however given my previous experiences I for went the cooked breakfast! If this hotel really wants to be 5 star it needs to re-evaluate its breakfast service. I could go on to include other concerns but I think this gives a general picture.
