Show more...I Came along as part of a Big yet Tiny team, we were looking around Wigan, saw the sign and decided to give it a go. So to say we hadn't booked ahead, the staff were very friendly and able to accomidate us quickly.
While we waited we had a bacon buttie and tea each in the attached Cafe! Great way start to an Escape room!
We were told that the place was just in the process of relocating and whilst there were signs of experiances being still under construction it was clean and well organised with discrete tarpaulins covering those pieces that were still being worked on. You can tell that when this is finished it will be a stand out place to visit.
The Escape room we tried was The Vault, I will give no spoilers here but just to say the sets were well themed and added to the story of the room. Puzzles were challenging but pitched at a level where they gave plenty of Aha moments. The Clue system was useful and not too obtrusive.
The ending wracked up the tension in a way that was exciting and amusing.
Run by people who obviously love puzzles and who love bringing interesting and theatrical experiances to life. Thoroughly reccomend.
A cracking 40 minutes in a toasty storage container, chanting to Satan and standing stiff as a board when the lights went out.
To quote the others in our group "Put your best puzzler at the front and stand back to enjoy the chaos" "it was fun" and "wow, why have I never done an escape room before? This will be a new addiction!".
10/10, Alisha was an excellent host to us. We'll be sure to visit the main site one day soon!
I came down from Glasgow to play Festive Frenzy with my great grandparents and our host Samantha was brilliant at bringing the Christmas spirit to our experience. She surprised us at the end by popping out of the box with Santa’s gifts with made our time so much more fun.
Huge shout out to Samantha, what a star worker!
Neither of us had ever done an escape room before so were a little apprehensive about it, unsure what to expect. After a super friendly welcome, we were taken into the entrance of our game, played the health and safety video then made our way into the room.
What a buzz! Figuring out each clue was challenging but doable, it was a test of our minds and a great way bond and work together. We did the Labyrinth room which is based on Greek mythology. The young lad, (I think his name was Luke) who took us through was an absolute delight! He acted as a Greek God over the speaker system and guided us perfectly through the game and he was really quite funny. He’s a credit to the place and I can’t thank him enough for making the experience even better!
We will deffo be heading back to try more rooms!!
The hosts are really friendly and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. The rooms are really good and each one is different and well thought out.
Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the rooms😊
We visited today for my friend birthday and completed the vault . Great experience , Luke our host was fab and very knowledgable .
We escaped in time , and my children 9 and 11 enjoyed it and took part working out the clues .
Would recommend to anyone as a family , couple or friends I’d say no younger than 9years old would work
Took my daughter and her friends for her twelfth birthday and a great time was had by all. Our host was very warm and welcoming and emitted the perfect combination of excitement but also reassurance. The scariest thing the girls had to do was leave their phones in a locked box! I would definitely recommend this for an alternative thing to do.
Show more...I visited the cafe, and the breakfast was great quality, and great value for money. The venue was clean and spacious, and comfortable—and busy, popular. I wanted to give it full marks, but the downside was the hostile elderly woman who served me.
I would have given it top marks but for her.
She was hostile and bad-tempered (not unlike the fictional character Basil Faulty, but without that character's charisma). I could have taken it personally, but after watching her for a few minutes, I saw that she interacted in the same manner towards the other customers and staff. I noticed the other staff behind the counter felt intimidated by her, walking on egg shells around her.
In the end, I decided to laugh at her behaviour and not let it spoil the experience.
It's a shame that they employ this old bad-tempered and hostile woman, because overall, the venue is great—and the food was great too.
We had a blast, I went with a friend and we both thought it was the best escape room we've been to.
Jodie clearly loved what she was doing, and I really enjoyed the involvement. It added that extra element to the room and really got us fully immersed in the story.
The room itself was really cool, all the little touches making you forget it was an escape room. Challenging without feeling completely lost and all the senses were tested!
I'll be back for sure!

Went to Adrenaline escape with family for a birthday. Really fun experience! Not too challenging so first time escapee friendly and small group safe. We all had a great time with the puzzles. The staff were lovely. Our game host was Jess and she was fantastic. She made us laugh before we entered the room, demonstrated how the locks worked well and gave very helpful hints. Would 100% recommend to others.
