Queues here are absolutely ridiculous and you can't join the queue until the time on your ticket, I opted for fast track entry for an extra ten per person and it was extremely worth it the queue was half way down the road and it was freezing so for upgraded to fast track with no fuss and were in within 5mins, handy idea. Place was brilliant .. wax figures very realistic and taxi ride through the history of London was a special touch. It's worth it but if your going with children use the fast track option when booking

Luckily we bought fast pass tickets. The queues were unreal and once inside, very claustrophobic.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but was left disappointed. We pre-paid for a wax hand for my daughter and the queue took nearly an hour yet there was only 4-6 people in front of us. The staff, not their fault, seemed under pressure and there wasn’t enough of them.

During the walk around, they closed the doors due to overcrowding which then forced more overcrowding.

Again without warning your led into another room (no choices, no staff to ask) and a winding narrow wait that leads you to a taxi ride.
All I’ll say is I expected better, £133 for 2 adults and a wax hand. I can think of lots of better things to spend money on.

Certainly won’t be returning.

Arrived at the museum 45 minutes prior to our allotted time. Was told by a few members of staff trying to control a crowd that we should come back 15 minutes prior. We did so, and even though, just managed to get in a full 40 later than our ticket time.

We were hit by 2 heavy showers whilst at the entrance queue and we looked horrible in all the photos with the celebrities.

By the way, most of the wax figures depict celebrities we are not familiar with. The ones we knew looked very different than what they do in real life these days. I think the museum is out-dated.

There is a taxi ride inside which tells the story of London in a very interesting way. Kids were amused.

The 4D cinema was also very well done, kids had a blast.

Overall we all had a great time despite the exhorbitant admission price.
Recommend 100%.

The concept and execution of the museum in itself is really good with fun sections dedicated to certain things. For example marvel characters, royal family, Hollywood stars and Star Wars. And the figures on themselves were really realistic.

However and this is the big but for me you couldn’t see any of it, purely as there were just too many people. You’d bustle about to try catch a glimpse then have to amalgamate around the figure with several other groups to fight over who gets their photo first and you’ve got to be quick as the swarm builds up quickly.

The moment we got there the queues were long suggesting that they’d only let a couple in a time but it was just packed and the second we got in we just wanted to exit as the whole time you were just being pushed around.

So would I recommend this attraction - yes, but not on a busy day as otherwise you’ll see very little of the wax figures that you cane to see.

This was my first visit to Madame Tussaud’s in London. The 2 for 1 offer came in handy, and the entry process was reasonably smooth.

The displays are of a wide range. Some of the models are very realistic, some were average and a few of them looked quite ‘plasticky’(or waxy I must say). Having said that, the overall experience was very pleasant. The London ‘cab ride’ experience was a very novel and realistic trip down the passage of time. I also quite enjoyed the Marvel 4D experience.

Definitely would recommend a trip for the overseas tourists and visitors - you would not be disappointed.

Please check online and utilise offers and vouchers to bring down the cost of the entry ticket(2 for 1, or multiple attractions bought together).

We took the chance to visit Madam Tussauds with young children having done so previously as a couple.
The tickets were booked in advance at a mid morning slot and we arrived in advance by recommendation. The queues looked endless and go beyond the building however upon checking with staff were advised to join the one with our allotted time (there looked to be 2 lines for pre booked tickets which cover different time frames and you simply join yours). Our wait was arguably no more than 20 minutes before we arrived at the entrance where the customary photo op awaited. This is unfortunately a reason for why there are delays going in as you are not given the choice to do it or not.
Once you are through this it is walk at your own pace through the different sections.
As mentioned by many people if you visit at a busy time it is pointless as there is not much, if any crowd control so you have to take your chance to get photos (easy to tell which waxworks are unpopular as you’ll easily get a chance with them!).
We did not pay extra to see the Sherlock Holmes section.
The marvel 4d cinema was amazing. Don’t be put off by a large crowd waiting as there is a large seating capacity. Previous to this the marvel section was fun with many interactive booths.
The gift shop at the end was ok , if busy you could be waiting a long time to have things like 3D prints done and staff struggled to cope with demand.
Generally we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would do so again at the right time.

We came here with our 1 year old and 10 year old. It was a great day out for all. It included so many things and I felt it was great value for money. We walked around the museum of celebs, we then got the option of seeing the spooky section (we didn't cause of the kids), then we got a little kart ride along the spirit of London trail, and a 3d cinema experience of how the superheros saved Buckingham Palace.

Good for a rainy day. Waxworks are amazing but I thought it was expensive as only takes about 2 hours to get round. Other things in London I would rather do such as the National history. If your child is a bit scared of the dark and loud noises I wouldn’t recommend as our son cried a lot during the dark areas and when King Kong shouted out! I also felt it was a bit dated. I was shocked there was no little mix! The royal family area is good. Go early! We did and wasn’t too busy even on a Saturday.

Queues to get were very confusing ! When we finally got in it was packed, lots of small rooms with low ceiling and crammed full of people. Wax works were pretty good and my son enjoyed having his photo taken (although you had to queue). The marvel 4d was the best bit. Expensive for what it is and wouldn’t go back.

We really enjoyed it, the visite to sherlock Holmes was really fun, £5 each on top of the visit of the museum itself, really worth it. And regarding the museum itself, great. The kids had fun, and the avengers video in 4D was unexpectedly awesome
