Me and my partner purchased tickets to see the Stereophonics and Tom Jones on Saturday 18th June.
The artists were fantastic and we enjoyed the music the best as we could but were hugely distracted from their performances due to the volume of people in the Pitch Standing/Freeflow Level 1 section.
I honestly do not know how the number of tickets sold were passed off by health and safety as there seemed far too many people crammed into one area. We heard a woman nearby to us say "someone is going to die here, it's chaos" and my partner and I just looked at each other in agreement.

The que for the toilets was crazy and the bar was even worse. There was absolutely no order or structure to the queuing system and it was dangerous.
The bar was also an absolute rip off, there was absolutely no justification for the prices charged other than pure greed.

The stewards were doing the best that they could but regretfully we left early as we were concerned for our safety and watched the remainder of the concert on the BBC in our hotel room. Not ideal after paying £83 a ticket

We attend concerts on a regular basis - usually 7/8 a year, often in the standing area, and this is the only time I have ever left early due to safety concerns. I do hope lessons are learnt for future events!

I have been on many stadium tours across Europe and indeed visited the Principality tour previously with overseas visitors. This visit I brought along some family from Eastern Europe who were keen to see the stadium. The tickets are now £16 per person and not cheap so I was hoping that we would have a good experience. Unfortunately due to external work we were unable to actually get inside properly and see where for example the royals would sit. There was no option to walk through the tunnel or hear any crowd noises etc. There are lots of corporate boxes around the ground some very large and on this visit the tour guide used a small box and crammed us all in. It would have been nice to have had prior warning via email etc that the stadium was not fully accessible inside.

However the main reason for low score was the tour guide seemed to be going through the motions and not too enthused about trying to wow the visitors about the stadium. There should be more focus on saying for example the Champions League final was held there and explain the leading pop stars and other sports. This particular tour guide wasn't even aware that the British Speedway Grand Prix had passed. An Australian visitor asked had there been Rugby League at the stadium and was glossed over oblivious that there had actually been World Cup Rugby games staged there in the past.

Myself and wife both agreed the tour we experienced was poor compared to previous years and the WRU can hopefully put secret squirrels in as guest to double check their tours are on the money so to speak.

Stereophonics & Tom
Jones concert. The artists were brilliant ! The venue , Awful ! Massive queues for toilets . Impossible to just watch the artists as people constantly up and down and standing in front of you ! Can’t people do without a drink for an hour????Ran out of lager at 20.00. Drinks very overpriced , you can’t take in any drinks or food so they can rip you off in there . £2.20 for lukewarm bottle of water £3.20 for Coke No ice! . Not enough toilets ,and the paper not replenished. Strong smell of dope at times . Would think twice about going again

The stadium tour at the Principality stadium costs £12.50. The tour starts in the stadium shop. On the tour the guide takes you into the stand into an executive box and the Royal box and then into the dressing rooms and press room. The guide was informative and entertaining. Well worth a visit.

As I used to watch Wales at Cardiff arms park I felt I should go at least once to the Principality stadium. So we went to the Six nations Wales-France match. Even though we were in the alcohol free region we found it difficult to get to the toilets at half time and we missed 5 minutes of second half. We also were surprised that the sales outlets we saw for food and drink were all cashless. The seats are very close together and there is little legroom. Despite this having the roof closed on a windy wet day helped us enjoy a great match. The only flaw was that Wales lost!

I recently went to the Principality stadium for a concert that we have been looking forward to since before Christmas.
Drink was overly expensive and the food was awful. If you ever go there eat out first.
Far more concerning was the safety.
I'm a wheelchair user I went into an accessible toilet to find exposed wiring and water on the floor.
I left my seat at one point and for some reason the crowd was allowed to surge forward and before I knew what was happening I was completely surrounded by people to the point where I literally couldn't move in any direction. A lady leaned over my should and screamed at a steward that some one was going to get hurt to witch he shrugged his shoulders and walked away, when the stewards realized that they'd lost control of the situation they all magically disappeared and left us to our own devices.
The only reason the situation didn't degenerate into a mass brawl was because a few member of the crowd took it upon themselves to try and control the situation. It was only thanks to one of these people who helped me inch my way through the crowd that I was able to get back to my seat.
There were no barriers between the seats and the pitch which meant that people were leaving their seats to watch the concert on the pitch. This meant that at the end of the show far more people than what was safe were being pushed through the pitch exits creating another crush situation.
If our experience was an indication of how events are managed then I don't think it will be long until there is a major incident at the principality stadium.

Great to see that the Stadium has not aged since my first visit a shortly after it opened. We enjoyed watching the match with the roof closed which added to the emotional atmosphere set by the military band, the male voice choir, national anthems etc. All good and drink outlets were fully manned, the Stewarding was brilliant but best of all the sightlines are amazing.

I booked the stadium tour online at short notice and it was a bit of a surprise that my wife had agreed to it. It turned out to be a great visit and even she really enjoyed it.
The tour was really comprehensive, visiting most parts of the stadium including the hospitality suites, royal box, changing rooms, press conference room and the pitch itself. The guide was first class, relaying facinating facts, funny anecdotes and answering all manner of questions the group could muster. Not only was this rugby related but included events at the stadium by artists like the Rolling Stones, Beyonce and Madonna, even monster trucks. The visitors dressing room is like a hall of fame dedicated to all the performers the stadium has hosted.
The tour really felt like a VIP glimpse into everything that goes on behind the scenes and was well worth it.

Stereophonics and Tom Jones , what a brilliant concert . The venue was shocking , £6.50 for a can of cider or beer , there was supposed to be free water but that was non existent . The queuing system for the bars were dangerous , it was a free for all with everyone pushing and shoving , how someone wasn't injured was a mystery . Forget about using the toilet's if your female , you could be waiting a long time . I don't think I would return there again and would warn everyone to be aware of what they are letting themselves in for .

I attended the Wales/Fiji match yesterday. I had been looking forward to it for some time and was keen to take my seat to enjoy the ensuing battle between the two sides.

The stadium and the control of entry systems were excellent! Each seating group were given a time to arrive which minimised the contact between individuals and speeded up the time to get to your seat. Well done!

Unfortunately, the appalling catering service let the stadium down and needs a severe professional overhaul. Selling extortionately priced, out of date beer and claiming that it's only now and again that a bad pint comes through the pumps. Wake up! Customers are not THAT stupid. Good and bad beer does NOT come from the same barrel! Out of date beer should be thrown out. I now have a stomach bug thanks to your failure to observe health and safety regulations! Additionally, £6 pounds for a hot dog and £6 pounds for cheap quality beer does not encourage customers to return!

Please review your catering practices, pricing strategy and customer service attitude immediately! It does not currently portray a good impression of Welsh hospitality.
