Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel

I have stayed here multiple times while travelling for work. Every time the team go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the food is phenomenal.

What an amazing venue for a wedding.The ceremony was held in the outside conservatory,with the rest of the celebrations held in the far room ......it worked perfectly.The bridal suite is the ideal room for photos and for the bride to dress .

Our son and daughter in law married here in December 2023 and what a fabulous occasion it was. From the initial contacts with the hotel until after the wedding, we were so impressed with everything. The downstairs rooms were beautifully dressed for Christmas and the hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all so helpful and caring and special thanks must be given to Paul who made the day run without a hitch. Many of the relatives had never been to Wales and didn’t speak English and what a brilliant experience everyone at the hotel gave them. Nothing was too much trouble. The food throughout the day was delicious and we can not recommend Coed Y Mwstwr highly enough. Thank you to Paul and every member of the staff for everything they did to make the wedding perfect.

Excellent location and facilities for our event. Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Dinner served in the restaurant was fabulous, the bar food very good, the event lunch could be improved.

Our favourite go-to place to stay in South Wales - we visit family regularly in the area and Coed Y Mwstwr always has a warm welcome, fabulous rooms and great service. We are huge fans of this friendly venue!

Wonderful setting - serene & clean. Real lovely ambiance in the bar - nice & quiet - just how I like it. The staff were friendly. Food was ok but left hungry / portions could be a little larger. Will definitely return again simply for the lovely bar area.

My one night stay (a stop over while travelling for work) turned in to a real treat. The warm welcome I received both from staff and the comfortable inviting lobby with a real fire …… started my stay off on the right note. Food was excellent, hotel was clean and comfortable and while my room was a little dates and tired in terms of style, the bathroom was new and the important things were met. The best bits: Staff friendliness and happiness was evident, they were so genuine and welcoming. Food - outstanding and the eggs benedict at breakfast was incredible. Open fire and cosy, comfortable public space to relax in. I would love an opportunity to return

I have photographed weddings at Coed y Mwstwr for the past 15 years! Even had my daughters wedding here back in 2013. It's a stunning venue, excellent food, friendly professional staff and a pleasure to photograph a wedding here. With the addition of the outside 'Folly' its now the perfect wedding venue in any weather. Ive added a couple of pictures from my last wedding covered there.

Gorgeous venue, staff were fantastic and so friendly. Being able to have breakfast in my room was a definite plus, and the breakfast selection was superb. Room was cosy, comfortable and clean. Only downside was the bar prices.

The location of the hotel is great, it is down a few narrow country lanes and is lovely and quiet. Plenty of parking too. The service was great in all areas of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
