We love this hotel. The rooms are small but well appointed: super comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. In general The Bothy Restaurant is excellent and Andrew (our server last night was top shelf). My flat iron steak, however, was tough and gristly and there were a few mix-ups with the bill. The manager did her best to accommodate us and we finally settled matters. While that single event was unfortunate, it does not, IN ANY WAY, change our feelings about the Palm Court.

Just back from my daughter’s wedding at this hotel. The hotel made it the best experience from beginning to end. The rooms are lovely, the organisation was exceptional, the food was outstanding and the staff were amazing. Big shout out to Ella who went out of her way to ensure we all had eveything we needed in the restaurant and during the wedding meal. She served us over the 3 days we were there and made us feel so at home. The kids absolutely loved her. Thank you for a lovely wedding experience

Here for a 3 night stay for my son's wedding. From check in to check out the staff could not do enough for us. The room was compact but had all the facilities we required. Would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Also caters for small children, with easy access for wheel chairs and buggies.if I had to be critical, they do not have lifts.

The beds are comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. We spent a few hours in the bar, the live music was really lovely and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful. Each time we return back to Aberdeen, we will stay at this hotel. It's such a beautiful building, and we have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

We recently had a family meal, the food was absolutely amazing and service was outstanding! We loved the variety of dishes on offer, such as the black pudding scotch egg with iron bru ketchup. We will definitely be returning to try some more of the dishes!

Was having drinks in the Palm Court Hotel bar before going on for a diner appointment. The appointment was suddenly cancelled and we were left in the lurch, luckily Jenna and Jayne came to our rescue and managed to fit us in, we had a lovely meal, washed down with drinks served by Ross and Adam, they all made it a memorable evening.

I celebrated my 90th birthday with relatives totalling 20 on Saturday 24th February. The Palm Court made it an unforgettable evening. Despite clashing with the Calcutta Cup game between Scotland and England and the hotel being full of supporters, they made my evening perfect. The staff were exceptional with service and help and made my special evening a night to remember.

Just wanted to provide feedback about my event held at Palm Court Hotel. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous. The staff who served us during the event provided excellent service and were quite attentive. I was quite pleased with how well they accommodated my requests to make my event a success. Unfortunately I was dissatisfied with the service provided by the event team. I must say that I found them both difficult to deal with and inflexible. They made planning of my event a stressful experience and caused me a few sleepless nights. I will highlight a few examples below to highlight my point. There was a mix-up in the size of the hall based on initial requirements. We were informed we could have use of any of the two function rooms located downstairs that were available. After my requirements were clarified during a visit to the venue (invitations and menu had been sent to the guests), I was informed I couldn't use the larger hall without paying an additional cost which was not discussed or agreed at the time of booking. After going back and forth for a few tense days, I was advised by the event team to pay £150 to make use of the bigger hall or cancel most of the entertainment I had planned for the evening. I asked for a projector and I was told it was impossible to have a projector and a DJ in the same room. I had to choose one or the other but I couldn't have both. I hired a projector from an external source and I was able to fit both the projector and the DJ in the same room that the event team informed me was impossible. I called several times to find out what the earliest time that the party decorator could set up and I was fobbed off with a call us back comment. I called on the Monday during the week of the event to find out the setup time and was told to call back on the Wednesday (2 days to the event) . I politely requested that since I have called and spoke to the event team on several occasions with regards this, the event team should call me on Wednesday. My requested was flatly refused and I was asked to call back on Wednesday to get the requested information. I requested for place cards to be put on the table, this request was denied. Almost all my requests was met with a flat refusal or reluctance to help. I did not get any call from the event team to find out how to make my event run smoothly until the balance was due, then Helen hounded me with calls and emails to pay up before the deadline has even passed even though I informed her I was away on holiday at the time. As soon as I paid the balance, I did not get any call from the team again.. I have organised a few baby showers, 40th birthdays and events at other hotels like the Hilton and I can't say I have received service as poor as this. Members on the organising team commented on the inadequate service as well.
