Village Hotel Nottingham

Found the village pub and grill excellent,asked the 2 young ladies on reception if we had to book and they were very helpful, showed us where to go, meal was amazing staff very accommodating from start to finish especially the gentleman in white shirt definitely a manager.highly recommend the steak burger with bacon and Brie also great atmosphere 😊

We had a Fabulous weekend stay at the village hotel Nottingham. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the check in/out process was extremely easy. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, we had the best night sleep ever. The menu although limited was tasty and well presented. We fully recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again K Ryan

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager Martin was a great host, answering any questions I had and going above and beyond. Really enjoyed the facilities, especially the gym and swimming pool

Booked this for my son & daughter in law as their first time staying as they were having a spa day as a birthday treat and fantastic location Absolutely loved it all including breakfast next morning Absolutely recommend ❤️to all my friends & family

I popped into the village hotel on Sunday and noticed they had Sunday roasts on the menu. It was really nice, came with all the trimmings and even extra roasties and a jug of gravy. You get a really good portions size here guys, I was nearly full just with the main. I then spotted the crumble which i demolished. Really good service with a smile couldn't do enough for you, I will definitely be returning. 😃

Stayed for one night, The Village is a mix of bar, gym with a hotel on top. Situated in a small retail park, pretty modern, the club room I had was OK, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean with a walk-in shower. The bar/diner is OK,it gets busy with both guests and gym users. The bar staff weren’t on top form though, I put this down to lack of training. Breakfast is a Buffett style and the ladies working the breakfast shift were helpful and welcoming. Pretty decent value for money and fine for a short stay. You do have to pay £5 per day for parking.

Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period for 4 nights. For the price we payed, I am happy. The hotel is quite corporate, but as we were visiting relatives each day it didn't matter to us. The room was a bit basic, (our choice to just have a standard room) but adequate. There is an option to use the leisure facilities if you wish. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location, near to a retail park. Very handy for any forgotten items, also if you want to grab a bite to eat a M&S food Hall is a few minutes walk away. There is a bus stop situated across from the hotel, with a regular service to either Nottingham or Derby. We will definitely return.

Came for my sisters wedding and was absolutely fantastic even had a sports bar to watch F1 and cricket! Didn’t stay over although saw other family members rooms and they were lovely and clean! Would come back and stop as was a lovely venue and the pool and gym facilities look great! Thank you for making a very special day!

We came for a few drinks with our little family and once again Lily made it perfect. She treats our little girl like an angel and the service is first class. Because of Lily, we will back most weekends ❤️❤️❤️❤️

CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER. We went for Christmas dinner only. We live locally and did not experience the rooms so cannot comment. ===== The place was run by a bunch of teenagers who looked like they were on work experience day, as you can imagine, when you asked "Is it sweet or dry?" Or, "Do you have Cogniac?" they had no idea what you were talking about. The Christmas day dinner was very dissapointing, no trimmings, the turkey tasted plastic I couldn't eat it. The whole dinner looked microwaved from frozen, the starter was bland and basic and so was the Christmas pudding dessert which was not much bigger than a mince pie with a tiny bit of sauce that tried to go all the way around it but didnt quite manage too -like some kind of drought. This meal in reality had less to offer than a Kershaws Sunday dinner from the frozen ready meal aisle in your local supermarket ..and all for the EHEM' bargain price of £130 for two! . (They must of made a killing that day!) The entertainment was the highlight of the day which was supplied by a nearby table, in which they all had too much to drink and resulted in an "Eastenders" style arguement, completed by half the party walking out, or rather 'staggering' through the chairs after their drunken exchanges of profanity. Lovely classy place.. we won't be returning!.
