Bought this as a gift for my partner who loves his rum - I wasn't too enthusiastic as I'm not a rum fan but I was pleasantly surprised. The host was really engaging; knowledgeable, entertaining and funny
The history of the business was really interesting and the cocktails were delicious even for a non-rum lover. The rum tasters were palatable from my perspective and my partner, who loves rum, throughly enjoyed them. I'd definitely recommend this experience.

The Salford Rum distillery tour was a brilliant 2 hour experience, full of background, interesting facts and most importantly taste testers of each of the products, both individually and as part of cocktails.

As a group of 6, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made sure we took the opportunities to grab both the recipes for the cocktails and a few bottles of Salford Rum to make them with.

We would fully recommend to anyone who is interested in local produce and/or rum.

Absolutely loved the history of the Rum trade and the origin of the company. Great new venue and set the scene to enjoy all the samples and just lived the Rum punch and cocktails using the Rum products.
Great little tin mug given to us and able to buy bottles to stock us up and 10 per cent offf.
Easy going hosts that were knowledgable and lovely vibe. Quite a treat for a Saturday afternoon and easy to find

Took my Dad for father's Day as we both like a run or two. We both thoroughly enjoyed the interesting and well crafted journey through the history of Rum and the Salford rum company. The presenter was funny and really knew his stuff and kept to a nice steady pace that was just right for keeping everyone engaged. The tasters were incorporated into the story nicely and the added cocktails were excellent. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes rum, history or just a good laugh.

This trip was gifted by my daughter and what a lovely gift. Cracking few hours spent here in an intimate setting with a very knowledgeable guy. Great History of rum, spices and trading in a bygone era. Then onto how Salford Rum came into being and where they are today. Smashing cocktails and rum sampling and chances for questions throughout and we spoke about 'Willow' and her capacity. So proud of hailing from this area and wish SRC the very best for the future.

We enjoyed our Spiced Rum Experience here very much. We were given a tasty banana daiquiri on arrival and sat at their cool barrel tables for a lively and fun talk by James covering the history of the brand and rum in general.

We tried each of the three rums neat and had two further delicious cocktails, and were really pleased to get one of the tin cups free. Excellent value all in all.

It got a bit crowded at the end when quite a few friends of those on the tour piled in to the relatively small space and sort of took over the bar area so we made a fairly hasty exit but our time there during the experience was bang on. Thanks so much!

An informative interesting tour of this amazing distillery. Absolutely delicious products you get to sample and see how a small business is trying to break into the drinks market.
Definitely recommend it and support these guys.

Really enjoyable afternoon spent with my (soon to be) 50 year old mate, as part of his birthday celebrations prior to a night in Manchester.

James and Tommy are a really engaging pair of guys, and their story of how they started the business, and how they have built the branding and the business around the history of the local community is fascinating.

I've been on several larger distillery tours to see the process, and while this experience is on a much smaller scale, the personal touch from the teammate this so much more enjoyable

The rum was pretty awesome as well - my mate was very happy with the bottle of Rum Black he chose as part of the ticket (this is an add on to the standard ticket price)

Really excellent few hours to start the afternoon in town beginning with a delicious rum cocktail. What followed was a brilliant insight and history of how the Salford Rum business started and the history of spiced rum in great detail. So interesting and all with a great selection of drinks to try. As a true Salfordian I would highly recommend this great experience to everyone 👍🧃🥃
