Worst casino I have been too. This place is nothing but a penny arcade . There are only 4 video poker machine in the 50,000 sqft casino. I will not recommend this place to anyone no table games very small high limit section I can’t believe they don’t have more video poker machine this was a total ripoff

I left a more detailed review on Google. I went to Wind Creek-Atmore in January 2022. I sat at one slot machine (they call them "Bingo" machines so they can operate in AL). In less than an hour and a half, I loaded almost $800 into the one machine, winning a couple dollars here and there, the most was $30, one time, from the one and only "free play" that I got during that time. I would add $100 at a time as I played. After putting in approx. $800, & playing the small amount won, my "balance" showed less than $1 left. As I was going to put in another $100, the machine's screen started spinning and wouldn't allow me to load more money, I called the attendant over and showed her what was happening. She called a male attendant over who told me the machine was being placed "out of order". I told the first attendant that I had dumped hundreds into the machine, and I wanted to keep playing THAT machine to try and win some of what I had put in it back. She said, and I quote, "That was stupid of you to put that much money in, you should have gotten up after losing your first $100". The floor manager then came over and gave me a paper voucher out of her pocket to cover the $1 the machine showed I still had on balance. From my experience, Wind Creek is getting money and not paying out, instead, their machines mysteriously stop working once loaded with patron's money and are down to approx. $1 showing. I hope that Wind Creek gets investigated by state or federal governing authorities.

Baby crying in room next store called the front desk told not there problem. Called after check out. $75 credit to my room. So paid over $300 and got $75 credit for not being able to sleep. Others given a comp room for just gambling. I can't sleep at a hotel room I get less than 1/3 refunded. 3rd anniversary we have stayed with wind creek. May be my last.

The food options are extremely lacking. Room service is your choice of hot wings, corndog, or hotdog with chips. I can get more variety at a gas station. The buffet is mostly fried and limited on choices it does not compare to other casino buffets at all. The Fire is great but the menu hasn't been refreshed since Covid, Asparagus and mashed potatoes are the only choices for sides. It is only open certain days and only until 9:00pm on the weekends (This is a 24 hour casino). Resturaunts should at least be open to 10:00 or 11:00 pm on the weekend your most busy time. Not everyone can afford The Fire and options need to be available for people to eat decent quality food. As always the staff is great but improvements need to be made with food.

Casino is a big rip off. I went with several friends and everyone lost their money fast for several days. Machines are set so tight they’re just taking money in and paying nothing out. They should be ashamed for what they’re doing to people in Alabama supporting their business during a pandemic. Their commercials say they support the state of Alabama but I would seriously disagree with that.

This casino is a rip off. Went with group of people who all lost with not even $5.00 win. Since COVID this casino rarely allows people to win ANYTHING. Shame on them for what they’re doing to Alabamians supporting their business.

Doing something with the family on the weekend just to get away for a while. Was a little disappointed on some of the attractions that were closed due to the pandemic but the stay was great. Once things clear up and go back to normal maybe these attractions will open back up. As of the time we were here only the bowling alley was open and we really came for the arcade but it was closed. Overall it's a nice and friendly environment for all ages.

My compliments to Wind Creek Casino in Atmore on cleanliness. When I saw the cleaning crew, and supervisor, I told them how impressed I was. Outstanding! I think what is helping tremendously is that smoking is only permitted outside and in designated areas. Regarding the slots, WC has a good variety of mostly penny machines, but dollar machines are available as well. I felt that the payouts were as expected, and my group of three had a very enjoyable day. I am looking forward to returning to the cooking classes. They are well organized, not overbooked, and the chef and assistants do a great job of teaching. Having your own cook space is a perfect setup. After instruction and prep of food, you enjoy a delicious meal that you have cooked! I will probably return to gamble every week or so because of it was such a fun experience.

Considering that this place is in the middle of nowhere, we did not expect it to be very big or fancy. We did not stay in the hotel, but we might do that the next time we go there. The casino was quite large and had most of the latest games with a lot of them having small progressive jackpots that surprisingly hit on a regular basis. If you walk away with a big win you will be in a minority, but if you just like to play without going through all of your money quickly, this place can meet your expectations. Just remember that the casino ALWAYS wins in the process of redistributing player's money among other players. Also, there are no table games, only slots, so don't go there if you like table games.

Horrible place! They put a big ad $20 free play and $15 meal. Then when I get there they say I have to choose only 1 yet it is almost an industry standard to get both. I have been to several in Biloxi that give both for new member signups. They way they worded the ad is completely misleading. When I was there they had many in line standing right next to each other in the promo line and the food line. They aren't following or enforcing CDC covid procautions. The slot machines are 3 foot from each other not 6. They have no table games! I won't be back and regret wasting my time! I recommend you AVOID this junk! BTW if you aren't aware, slot machines are the worst odds for you to win money. You should not waste your money on this garbage!
