Show more...Just spent a week at the hotel in Bodrum and could not fault anything. Had a totally relaxing holiday with first class service , food and accommodation. The hotel has the friendliest of staff who do everything possible to make your stay as enjoyable as they possibly can. All the staff are friendly and helpful and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Bodrum in the 15 years we have been coming to Turkey. Thanks again to all of the staff and hopefully see you in 2024!!
Show more...We stayed at the hotel in October. This is our second trip here. The first time was in May. The service, the quality of food, everything remained at the highest level despite the fact that it was the end of the season. One can only note an even greater variety of national cuisine, which we tried with pleasure. Many thanks to Damla, who was personally involved at all stages of organizing our holiday from booking, organizing transfers and solving all our wishes and requests. We can say with confidence that this hotel has become a second home for us, to which we want to return again and again... We really hope to return here next year.
Show more...This year we went to this hotel for the third time. It was great again. The staff is very friendly and are always there for you. The food is very tasty and there is plenty of choise. The contact with Damia Ypar was alsof pleasant. She contacted us regulary and asked if everything is still ok. Net year we will definitely go to this hotel again. Gerrit en Marian, The Netherlands
Show more...Staff and service excellent, very friendly and do upmost to please. Food and restaurant service exceptional. Wonderful selection at meal times, so much it is hard to choose. Sadly not the fault of the Prive but late night music from another nearby hotel which is ridiculously loud makes it impossible to sleep until late most evenings. Must annoy local people as well. Hope they can get it resolved as a lovely place to stay otherwise.
Show more...The hotel is great overall. Good/great: - The attention of the staff, with good dedication and profesionalism, always helpful and even doing things that were not suposed to do from my POV. Special mention to Damla, who was dedicated, helpful and careful for our good stay - Rooms, pool and beach, and facilities in general are very good OK: - The show at night To improve: - We found the food in the snack bar with room for improvement, specially the European/American dishes. In contrast, the Turkish dishes were very good.
Show more...My wife and I stayed here for 10 days from the 14th of September. This is a very Turkish orintated hotel, which is not surprising as most of the guests are in fact Turkish. But Hey, when in Rome.....The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are very helpful. The buffet food is well presented with a good and varied selection every meal time. Bars were well stocked with branded spirits and beers, drinks were served quickly. Entertainment was aimed more at the locals than the foreigners, but the singers could still sing although you didn't know what they were singing about. The Dali evening and the dancers were amazing. The Disco night was a bit dissapointing as the DJ just wanted to play modern banging club tunes. As for the rooms, we were on the 7th floor, so a fantastic view across Bodrum harbour to the castle and town. Make sure you get a sea view room, well worth the extra, cos the rooms that don't have that, look out onto a corridor. I would say the rooms are compact and the bathrooms need a bit of up dating but everything worked. Clean towels and bed linen almost every day. A free minibar, a constant supply of bottled water and a safe to use included. There is a great little water taxi that will take you to Bodrum town and you didn't have to wait long, at anytime of day (60TL pp) one way. Gumbet is a short taxi ride away (100TL) or maybe a half hour walk. The hotel has its own whatsapp/client liason, Damla, she is very helpful when you want to know stuff or book a table at the a la carte. Getting into the sea is by steps, once in its very sandy and not too deep with just a few rocks, we took swimming shoes but did not use them. This is a great hotel if you want some serious R&R. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are amazing and make the place what it is.
Show more...The hotel has a great view, the food is of high quality, especially the meat dishes. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful throughout. The water is clear and inviting for a swim. It has everything a good hotel needs, if only there wasn't the madness every evening with way too loud music until midnight. Yes, music is part of vacation, we like it too, but please with quality instead of maximum volume and in time moderation. "Peace and happiness" is written on the hotel's homepage. If you search deeper, you find the note: "Every day between 22:00 and 00:00, an open-air disco event begins, offering guests the opportunity to have fun and enjoy themselves during their holiday". Well, how a daily disco until midnight fits in with the advertised peace and quiet, at least I don't understand... Fortunately, the local alltours tour guide and the front office management from the hotel were helpful in finding us a room with much more distance to the stage area. For those for whom the evening programme is not a problem, the hotel can be recommended without hesitation, for people who are looking for peace and quiet even after dark rather less. The second problem this hotel has and which leads to a point deduction is a cat problem. Free-roaming feral cats may be "cute" to some, but the complete ignoring of the cats on the part of the hotel management leads to the hotel's own sandy beach degenerating into an XXL cat litter box. Especially in the evening hours, you have to be careful when moving your lounger, as it regularly happens that a cat is quietly doing its business underneath. Afterwards, you think twice about walking barefoot through the sand...
Show more...My wife and I spent a lovely relaxing week at the Prive Hotel. The food and amenities were fabulous. Ceren, the aerobics instructor, was a breath of fresh air with her charming helpful personality. Will be back.

If you are a non smoker this hotel is definitely not for you. Would rate it as a 4* only on a very good day, definitely not 5*. Outdoor hygiene/cleanliness disgusting. Shame as the view is beautiful.
