I can only add my thanks to Jimmy and the team, in this case, Dave. My initial emails were answered promptly (the opposition failed by not responding to my email) and a follow up phone call cemented our tour, which we began almost fresh off the plane from Australia.
How's this for service: when I turned on my phone upon landing I was greeted with a text from Jimmy along the lines of: "I see you have landed a bit early. Please get in touch if you want to start earlier, otherwise we'll leave the arrangements as is"
I picked the tour after reading reviews here. We wanted to see LA and didn't want to drive or organise anything after a long flight. So into the SUV it was, for our customised tour.
Most things on the "to do" list for LA were covered. We also had a fun celebrity spotting at the end of a windy road where the usual type tour buses couldn't go. We were being shown the Ipad photographs of said celebrity in his car when, as if on cue, the exact same car drove past us and up to the front gate. A silly guilty pleasure.
The strangest things excited me: the cameras in hedges and trees, the small block of "San Francisco" type houses (you may have to ask), even the Hollywood sign.
We were dropped off at the Getty Museum at Jimmy's suggestion. What an amazing place. Thanks Jimmy and Dave. Jimmy had even left a map with his suggestions of the best places to go and things to do at the museum.
Overall a really wonderful experience and I cannot speak more highly of the service and tour. It goes without saying that the vehicle was spotless and Dave polite and helpful to a fault.
Don't hesitate people.do it!

We spent the day touring LA, Santa Monica and Malibu with Brian. It was our first time to this area and Glitterati came HIGHLY recommended by our hotel concierge. Brian was promptly waiting for us at 9am to start our day off. We told him this was our first time in LA and we wanted to see more sights than "homes of the stars". He understood and took us on our way. We drove thru the Farmer's Market, some beautiful neighborhoods then on to the Walk of Stars and the surrounding area. We got out of the comfortable and fully-stocked SUV when we got to the Walk of Fame and meandered the streets for a couple of minutes. Then it was back into the vehicle and off to drive by Santa Monica Pier on the way to our outrageous lunch in Malibu. Glitterati gave us several choices for lunch stops and we picked Geoffrey's in Malibu. Brian dropped us off and returned promptly when we called him after our meal was finished. Brian was a delight with his humor, wit, knowledge of the area and even some historical facts accompanied by pictures on his iPad to describe what we were seeing. Our only regret is our fault. We didn't ask him to stop and let us out so that we could explore. The tour was mainly driving in an SUV and looking at everything. Luckily, we had one more day in LA so we went on our own back to the Farmer's Market and Santa Monica Pier. I would recommend Glitterati because of their vehicles and Brian's personality, but I would caution that you need to be in control of your tour and speak up if you want the driver to stop and wait while you expereince your surroundings. Again, this misunderstanding was our fault and not that of Brian's or the tour company.

From start to finish I could not have wished for a better tour for our party 2 adults and 2 girls (20yo) . From the absolute start Jimmy McGill and I shared a couple of emails about the tour , what , when , where and I could tell that this was already great customer service.
We booked the 3 hour Essentials LA tour with a pick up from the Getty Centre and a drop off at the Farmers Market - David was our driver and he was simple fantastic - he took us to a whole heap of celeb properties in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and the Burbs. What was great was that being in the SUV you could easily see so much more than the bigger buses and it was our choice where to go!. The SUV was fantastic - air conditioned with water and snacks for the tour and David had an IPAD with pictures of many of the houses we stopped by - essential when you only get to see the outside!.
David was highly knowledgeable about LA as well so was able to give us some history local details. We got to a excellent viewing spot for the Hollywood sign and we stopped off at the Hollywood Bowl for a photo opportunity.
You may think that the tour is expensive - Its not - think of it as your personal tour of LA.
We already have the Underbelly Tour in mind for our next visit.
I will say it again - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - GREAT TOUR !
