Visited today with a 3 year old and 1 year old. Booked on line which only involved submitting number of people you didnt have to put a time in and no payment was made online, it was pay on entry. (Thought this was so they could limit the number of people).
The animal park has a small number of animals and birds and food is sold so the children can feed some of them. There is a small picnic area with picnic benches so taking a picnic is an option. A cafe is situated just outside the animal park and once you have paid to get into the park you are allowed in and out all day so eating at the cafe is also an option.
A flying display and bird handling takes place a couple of times through out the day and is worth seeing as it's both informative and entertaining.
We enjoyed the park but there were some things that could be improved.
There is only one toilet/baby changing in the entrance, with a 3 year old who, when he needs the toilet doesnt give a lot of warning was a concern. I was lucky there were only four people in the queue and fortunately they understood the urgency with a three year old and allowed me to queue jump.
Although the park encourages feeding the animals (they sell the food) the only hand sanitizer we saw was at the entrance before you pay and other than the toilet also near the entrance we saw no other hand washing facilities. Fortunately I had hand sanitizer and wipes with me.

Taking Covid into consideration:-
There was a one way system in place but the path around the park is only narrow so social distancing was almost impossible with the number of visitors they had allowed in.
There were plenty of benches for watching the flying display but the number of visitors wanting to watch was greater which meant some people were ignoring social distancing and sitting on the same bench as other couples/family.

I fully understand the park needs to re-open and support this, hense our visit but more thought needs to go into keeping people safe while they are in there.
Currently there is no time limit on how long you stay in the park but maybe they should consider a morning booking and an afternoon booking. This gives people ample time to see/feed the animals and take in the displays. Changing the booking system online so you have to select morning or afternoon and paying online would allow them to limit numbers and maintain revenue avoiding no shows. Adding additional sanitizer around the park near the animals and in the picnic area would also be a welcome addition.

Had an amazing time. Had the meet and greet session with the meerkats that was absolutely unbelievable having to a chance to stay all day and see all different types of animals in there free environment was brilliant. The birds of prey show which is free was also an eye opener. The staff are all friendly and polite and are also very knowledgeable will definitely be going again and would recommend this for everyone the prices are also very cheap. Thanks to all the staff for making it a special day.

My wife and I visited Bridlington Animal Park today and we loved it.
We arrived about 10:30am and didn't leave until around 3:30pm. We got involved in all of the displays and feedings throughout the day - there's a different one roughly every hour - and never once felt rushed along to have our go with the animals and move on, we could take as long as we wanted.
The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. You could tell that they really cared for and loved animals.
It was great being able to get up so close and interact with the different animals and the staff helped us to get the best photo opportunities, be it telling us where to stand ready for the best shot or to get the animals to come by you.
If we were ever around this part of the country again we'd definitely visit again. It may not be as fancy and initially impressive as some of the more famous zoos around, but we enjoyed ourselves a lot more here. Plus, at £5.95 per adult, for what they give you it's easily worth every penny.

Had a fantastic afternoon at the Park including a meerkat handling experience and watching the birds of prey display. Manager Dave and his lovely assistant Rochelle obviously love all the animals and enjoyed telling us all about them.
The meerkat experience was well worth paying for (check it out on Groupon) feeding them as they were running up and down your body, sometimes sitting on your shoulder or nesting in your jacket or hood. Three friendly porcupines joined us and enjoyed their treat of sweet potatoes.
The bird display was great fun as Einstein the Raven played mini musical instruments and it was lovely to see the birds with no face covers or gauntlets.
Lots of animals to see and I would definitely go again when it is warmer and go for the day. There is a cafe, picnic area and gift shop.
A really great day out for any age!

Great afternoon out with my niece. It’s not huge but plenty to keep you entertained if you see the bird show and do the bird handling. Would recommend buying feed at the shop on the way in as it kept me and my niece very entertained - especially with a very greedy pig who opened his mouth waiting for us to throw food in! It was just a shame the wallabies weren’t hungry as feeding them would have been cool. Very good value for money at £6.

Second time of visiting with my 16 month old daughter, and we absolutely adore this little place. Met in reception by friendly and enthusiastic staff who are keen to show where each part of the park in (plus 50p for animal food ends up being well worth it) - nice little shop in reception too which isn't too badly priced! One way system is well signposted with plenty of hand sanitizer stations/places to wash your hands and the surface is adequate for a little one to walk around/pram to be pushed.

Animals are all extremely friendly and clearly well looked after by the team (my daughter loved the donkeys and goats). The flying show was outstanding too - seeing the owls and raven flying around was fantastic and the knowledge of the staff was second to none.

Can not recommend enough - we will be back (soon!).

I travelled from Newcastle 2.5 hours to get to this amazing Animal Park and it was totally worth it! We had a fantastic time feeding the meerkats and stroking them, they were so cute and friendly! There are lots of animals to see and we got to feed raccoons too. The bird display was phenomenal, the raven did many tricks which was very entertaining like playing a Xylophone and the drums! They recently got a Skinny Pig which was so cute and interesting to see. I would highly recommend coming here for the day, you can easily spend a few hours walking around and feeding animals. It's fantastic for Children and very educational 😊

This is a lovely little place to spend a couple of hours been a big kid again and great for younger children.

We arrived just after 9-30 so it was quiet. Lady who greeted was lovey and friendly. Entry cost us just of £20 for 2 adults and a teenage plus 2 bags of food though we purchased more food but it’s only 50p bag and so worth it.

We then made are way around feed all the animals I’m sure my husband enjoyed the most. You get map a list of the animals you can feed from the emus sheep to the wallabies, On there are the times when you can hold the owls and watch them fly, also other ones we got to feed the monkeys which is a must. We held the owls then had another walk around to feed the animals again. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the show due to the weather.

You can come and go all day we is a great idea.

The only think I would say if it’s been raining make sure you wear wellies or walking shoes as it’s gets very muddy as there’s no tarmac pathway.

Like like us there were a lot of people unprepared, maybe it would be a good idea to put this on the website.

Had a fantastic couple of hours and was lovely seen a teenage been a child again.

From the minute we arrived and handed in our groupon voucher & tickets we were made to feel welcomed and special. The couple in the gift shop / entrance were full of information and advised on feeding times and activities throughout the day. We got to feed and pet the Wallabys, we got to hold Owls and a laughing Cookaborough, we got to feed the marmoset monkeys and watched a raven play the xylophone! We fed the pigs, who open their mouths wide for you to tip in the food and the goat and watched the flamingos stand on one leg for eternity. We were very glad we had taken our wellingtons. The best part was when we went in with the Meerkats and they climbed all over us to get to the food we were given to offer them. The parots were very polite say hello and good bye. The owners/ staff could not have done anymore for us it was a wonderful day. We had a lovely Sunday roast at the food place next door.

I brought my 18 month old son here and he loved it. You can buy some bags of animal food and feed some of the animals.
I would recommend watching the bird show at 1pm if you can, one of the owls sat right next to us. You can leave and come back if you need to as well. Staff friendly. Will be visiting here again.
It had been raining so It was a little muddy, so if you go when it has been raining.. wear appropriate footwear!
FYI; Also they ask you to prebook online, you pre book and put how many people are in your party. You are given an order number and you are able to pay in person on the day you book
