Hawaii Turtle Tours

We've taken this tour twice (Christmas time 2018 & Christmas time 2019) and these guys do not disappoint. The last tour, we were fortunate enough to get some Hawaiian history via the tour bus driver, Cousin Keith Kalani! Mikey, the tour director was really knowledgeable about local facts and overall it was a great tour for the price. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic tour, so much more than just "snorkeling with turtles". We saw so many sights, swam at various beaches including the world-famous Pipeline, and learned a lot about Hawai'I, its history, culture and its people. Kevin was an outstanding and knowledgeable tour guide who both entertained and educated us, as his driving partner "Kong" transported us safely and efficiently from one location to the next.

Make sure to bring cash with you. The lunch spot we stopped at was amazing but was cash only (~$55 for 3 plates of shrimpy goodness), and you cannot use your credit card to tip your fantastic tour guide and their driver.

My husband and I are visiting Hawaii for our honeymoon and really enjoyed doing this activity. The day we were scheduled to go we had a small group with 3 other couples. Our guide was Johnny Aloha and he is the best tour guide we have ever had while traveling! He was so friendly, funny, and personable. Since we were all early and got an early start on our day he took us to extra places that were not on our itinerary and due to our groups small size for the day he let us choose the order we wanted to do some of our itinerary in. I would highly recommend Hawaii Turtle Tours to anyone visiting Hawaii! It is a quality tour. You get to stop and lots of beautiful natural lookouts, a variety of food places, and a diverse selection of attractions around the entire island. My husband and I had such an amazing experience and so much fun!

Pam and I wanted to do a circle tour early in our vacation so we could see places we might want to go back to. This trip with Josh and Uncle Keith was the best! We did so many things on our adventure that it’s hard to sum it all up.

We liked Josh’s high energy that never waned during our 9 hour+ day… “Too Easy …!” It was also great the way he and Keith took turns on the mike to hear a different voice and different insights. It made it so authentic that they had grown up as neighbors and gone to the same high school. “There’s Keith’s house …”

Just the right amount of time was spent at each spot. Thought our snorkelling would be cut short because of the turtle traffic on the North Shore, but Josh gave us more time!

Can’t recommend doing this tour enough! Just book it and ask for Josh and Uncle Keith. Too easy!!!

Kurt and Harry are the absolute best tour guides a person could ask for! Their energy kept everything fun. Kurt did a fantastic job interacting with each person on a personal level and made this one experience to remember for a lifetime. He’s also hilariously funny 😂 I would highly recommend to all your friends and family and to anyone looking for a great time, fun activities, tasty food and wonderful memories.

Hawaii Turtle Tours:
This is a must for all ages. This tour covers many of the must have go to sites on Waikiki. There is no rush at the stops. If your group is on time with the stops, things are much nicer. I brought my wife, teen daughter and mother over and we all had a good time. No one felt left behind or dismissed. Cate and Troy were great! Cate, knows the island, it's history, all the small details that make this group great and embodies the spirit of Aloha! Troy too was great in the fact that other stopping for signals and stops I don't think the bus ever stopped moving! A very skillful and knowledgeable driver indeed. The turle Beach itself was awesome. The water can be a little murky but you should remember you are in the turtle's home and the reef is where they get their food. Mind your manners in the turtles home 🙂.

We had a group of 12 and Johnny Aloha gave us a custom north shore tour and kept us entertained the whole way. He was super accomodating and made the experience incredible for us all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a personalised experience of the island!

We had the pleasure of being hosted by Kurt and Harry on an amazing Oahu adventure. We chose the North Shore and Turtle Snorkel excursion. This tour was just what we needed after a very long flight to get to Honolulu. We were leaving on a cruise in another day, and only had a short time to see Oahu. I’m glad we chose this tour. We got to see all the high points this wonderful island had to offer with great photo ops, and also snorkeled with turtles. We also ate an amazing lunch, sampled macadamia nuts from a local farm and have the obligatory Dole pineapple whip. Kurt was a very informative tour guide, with a great sense of humor, which made the trip very fun and interesting as we learn things about the island we would not have known. Harry was an expert driver and watched everyone’s valuables so that we could leave them in the small tour bus with total confidence in his security. Together they made a great team. I’d suggest asking for tours they run by name. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone. A great way to see the island, learn about its history and have a fun time as well.You won’t be disappointed.

Saying Josh made the experience perfect would be an understatement. It’s my first time in Hawaii and I just wanted to see some sights and see some local areas around the island. Josh went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything we were looking at including things not on the tour as well as making a fun enjoyable and a VERY funny experience. Loved every moment of the tour and Josh, any time the tour felt like it may get a little stale Josh brought the energy back up and ot became an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you Josh and Vincent for an amazing time

Everything! The views were spectacular and it’s not my first time but It still gets me every time. I did this tour back in July last year and Nevin was a fine young man filled with knowledge and history of Hawaii. This year I got the pleasure to have tour guide Kurt and driver Victor, same fun experience only more fun!!! The turtles were all present on this tour because Kurt called on the “turtle gods” big and small ones, they showed off their beauty, and we respected the island by staying 20 feet away, the blow hole didn’t do much this time of the year compared to last summer but still spectacular and a must see! The Lunch is a 10/10, food and the location was spectacular, relaxing, felt like another vacation by itself, unlike the previous shrimp lunch by the dirt road. That caused indigestion by having to fight for your table. The Dole was disappointing but what Kurt did for his passengers, providing jokes and wholesome entertainment made up for Dole’s shortcomings.
