Lodge Clinical Spa

Feeling burnt out and frazzled I booked a. Spa day with lunch at this local hotel. Had a beautiful day , felt safe and fully relaxed by the end of the day. My only complaint was the pool was a bit cold and more seating in the pool area would be appreciated. Will be booking another one for December

Can’t thank Joe enough who for booking us in and advising what way was best to book. Joe was so professional, knowledgeable with fabulous customer service skills. The spa was the lovely chill myself and my daughters wanted we literally chilled in the hot tub and even had drinks served to us in there . Would highly recommend

have visited a number of times when staying at Thornton Hall and every time have enjoyed the treatments. Had 3 lovely treatments by Katie this time and would thoroughly recommend this lovely lady, very professional, the staff at the lodge are always suberb.

I have just come back from a spa day and it was absolutely amazing.The occasion was for a wedding which is next Friday 25thMay 2018 . The young lady that did my massage and facial was fantastic. She took her time and totally put me at ease Will definitely be going back really soon highly recommended. ❤️🤗🥂 . Feel so relaxed the atmosphere was just right a massive thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️❤️

We had a couple of treatments in the spa. Mostly massages. The life saving back massage and the hot stones massage. Both were amazing. The relaxation room after is lovely

My husband and I booked a spa day package here as a belated Christmas gift to each other. Unfortunately we were left underwhelmed by the spa experience. The day was not as relaxing as other spa days we have done due to sharing the facilities with gym goers, families and large wedding/hen parties, making a lot of noise and rendering the outdoor hot tubs unusable for most of the day.

Some facilities had been modernised such as the changing rooms, the Rasul and the outdoor areas; although the Rasul needed some attention (broken tap, empty tissues and shower gel).

The upstairs treatment rooms and relaxation area were lovely and our massages were definitely the best part of the day. Food in the brassiere was also great value, with a great outdoor seating area overlooking the gardens. Slippers and gowns were provided and despite being told we could wear them to lunch we were glad we didn’t, as everyone else was properly dressed!

Overall disappointed given the cost for the day!

Went for a spa day. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Facilities good and lunch good. Some quibble over teas and coffees but soon addressed. Spa treatments in another building which meant traveling in a golf buggy dressed on bath robes. No real place to lounge and relax. But overall was good.

I was recently treated to a spa day here as a birthday gift. The gym, spa and brassiere share the same reception which gets very busy as do the ladies changing rooms. The treatments I received were second to none! I had multiple treatments all provided by the same spa therapist, a beautiful young blonde lady who I think was called Jessica, she was not only friendly, but professional and knowledgeable which quickly put me at ease. I visit a lot of spas and I can honestly say this was the best full body massage I have had, and my facial was pretty amazing too, I’m not sure if the spa management read these reviews but if they do Jessica really should be commended for the level of service she provides because nothing was too much trouble for her, she even cut the fronts off my slippers so I wouldn’t smudge my pedicure. The food in the brassiere was really good and the ladies serving us were very accommodating to my vegetarian needs.I throughly enjoyed my spa day and would be very happy to recommend and return to the spa.

We visited here for a spa break and booked a number of treatments. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the treatments were all really good. The treatment rooms are a little dated and don’t create a relaxing atmosphere. We could both hear the traffic noise outside over the music. Having to come out of the main Spa area and across a busy car park to get your treatments also puts a major dampener on the whole experience, especially when you are wearing a dressing gown and slippers and delegates from the conference rooms are pouring out at the same time! For the same treatments at the same price you can go to much better spas and have a better experience.

I’ve just had an amazing facial with the lovely Megan at the Lodge Thornton Hall Spa.
The lodge itself if very welcoming; especially at the moment as it’s very warm and cosy with Christmas decorations already up!!
Megan showed me into the treatment room and took the time to ask me about my current routine and explained what the treatment would involve.
After the facial Megan explained what products she’d used; it didn’t feel like a pushy sales pitch (a good thing!).
I would definitely recommend.lovely way to spend a Thursday evening 😀
