The staff were most helpful; very pleasant and child-friendly. The rooms were characterful and comfortable and we were able to take our time and enjoy the splendour on a rainy afternoon. The scones were sizable with might pots of jam, butter, and dense clotted cream. The gingerbread latte was also a highlight.

This was our 2nd visit to Headley Dell nature reserve. It’s perfect for a dog walk through the woodlands and rarely crowded. After our walk we like to visit the tea rooms. Last time due to Covid restrictions we sat outside (undercover) behind the tea rooms with a lovely view of the stream through the trees. Water bowls and clips for dog leads are provided at the end of every table. This time, we ate inside (also doggy friendly). We can recommend the hot dog and luxury cheese on toast. The coffee is decent and we were served by a quietly efficient waiter called Amant who wasn’t phased when the cafetière malfunctioned. Prices are very competitive.

A really beautiful building with lovely afternoon tea. The scones and clotted cream were to die for and probably the best I've had in a decade.

The decor inside was fabulous which made the place really unique.

My only critique would be the pricing. We baught a Groupon that made the afternoom tea near £30.00, however the original price before discount as stated on Groupon was over £110.
For what it was that would be an insane cost but none the less, a really pleasant experience!

As a large walking group , we had a pre arranged group booking of over ladies celebrating a special birthday in June last year. Lisa and her staff went over and above to accommodate us. The food was amazing and service was great too. So much so that as a group (of 23 ladies) we returned last week to celebrate 4 special birthdays amongst us.

Once again we were accommodated so well, we received a lovely warm welcome, with so much attention to detail. The food as always was excellent , good generous portions at very reasonable prices.

There was most definitely 23 very happy ladies, and I am already checking out any special birthdays for next year.

Had lunch at Healey Dell cafe and tea rooms. Great food, service and location. Staff can t do enough for you. Very Covid safe thoroughly cleaning tables and chairs between customers. Dogs welcome on the patio. This place takes dog friendly to a new level . Subtly adding leash clips to the tables makes dog owners feel welcome whilst keeping dogs under control preventing inconvenience to other customers . My pooch was offered a sausage FOC too. They have lots of staff. Girl who served us was polite and friendly mopping up promptly when we spilled our tea. Everything served on trays too which is considerate in the Covid age. Brian asked us if we had everything we needed more than once . It was our first time in a cafe as a couple since lockdown and I d recommend this little gem to anyone. All bone China which is a rarity these days especially as they are so good on price. If you are looking for something a bit different give it a try. The location is stunning too in historic Healey Dell an area of outstanding natural beauty . It’s like the Ritz in an enchanted wood.

Second time visiting the tearooms, first for a family birthday and today for mother's day. The food was delicious as always, the staff are all so welcoming and do everything they can to help and make you feel comfortable. Had a lovely couple of chats with the staff. Tip- the hot chocolates are perfect on a cool day!!

We visited as we had a Christmas present for an afternoon tea. We booked on line and as a diabetic I mentioned I would prefer less cakes and more savoury items. When we were seated the waitress said this had been noted.

Two afternoon teas arrived and one had more sandwiches and less cakes. Both were excellent. The scones are the highlight - freshly baked and full of fruit.

Highly recommended

Very nice place to visit - combination of friendly service, lots of homemade cakes etc and the nature reserve / walks in the countryside.

We had the afternoon cream tea (sandwiches, cream tea scones, coffee and cakes). All very nice !

Recommended for a nice day out.
