Lovely beach, great to see so many kiddies in the water enjoying themselves. We didn’t actual spend the day here, we only visited a short while as came up to see the Dark Hedges which are fairly nearby but after our short walk we have decided we would love to come back and stay a few nights in the area. Lovely summer vibes going on.

Decent beach. Usually not too crowded compared to some of the other beaches nearby.
Lovely shells and pebbles on the beach. There were a number of (local)people actively picking up any litter etc
You might even catch some waves on your bodyboard!!!

such a beautiful beach, lots of interesting features - a little bridgeway over the water to a rock face. The pebbles are beautiful, lots of people surfing, the water extremely clean, and lots of amazing varieties of seaweed! Also, one of the only beaches in the area where dogs are allowed in high season. Our cocker spaniel Lucy loved it.

Ballycastle Beach is a nice place to stop on the coastal highway on the way back to Belfast from The Giants Causeway and the Rope bridge, We walked the beach for an hour. I collect sea glass but unfortunately, I didn't find anyon the beach.

We enjoyed a lovely wander along the beach at Ballycastle. It is a lovely clean beach and bracing in the sun & wind.

Spend many days on this beautiful beach with my grandchildren. It's a Blue Flag beach meaning an award for cleanliness of the water and the beach. During summer months it is manned by RNLI life guards from early till late in the day. Children (and adults love it!

Ballycastle Beach right in the town, offers beautiful views of Rathlin Island and on a clear day the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland. It is a long flat sandy beach so very easy to walk on. Right behind the beach are tennis and basketball courts as well as a lovely paved walking trail joining all the recreation facilities together. Definitely an added bonus to visiting Ballycastle.

For those who like the adventure Ballycastle has the best challenging walk & incredible view, doing it from the top of Murloch Bay to the beach house (Marconis Cottage) took us about 5-6 hours, recommend doing it with a local & without kids
