Hotel Voramar

We stayed for a week bed and breakfast, fabulous hotel, very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a great location, breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, we’ll definitely be back! Handy hint - try and get a room overlooking the courtyard rather than the street, it’s a bit quieter and your balcony gets sunshine all day - big shout out to Juan the waiter - he’s a legend!!!

Booked this hotel as wanted to be in the Old Town of Benidorm and it had very good reviews. Went half board and the breakfast and dinner changed every day. My friend and I enjoyed the choice. Super efficient staff in this hotel. Majority of guests were Spanish. The night entertainment there was in Spanish, but had lots of people enjoying it. We went out. Would have been 5 stars, but went to take 2 wine glasses to our room and the Receptionist girl had a right go at me. (Was going to ask to take them anyway, but she never gave me the chance!). That particular girl ignored us at every opportunity after that. Which was disappointing. The other staff were brilliant. Would stay again though.

We stayed here for a weekend. Location was great, close to sea and in the old town, loads of shops and bars around. Hotel itself - we would not come back here second time. Definitely not worth 4 stars. First impression at the reception wasn't great. Lady kept chatting with another lady didn't even noticed us. Staff wasn't very friendly it was hard to communicate because of the language barrier. Room we got was average, view from the window was horrendous, some pipes and etc. No kettle to make yourself a cup of tea. Food was alright but not much choice. Desserts and pastry was very tasty. Roof pool that was so advertised on page was closed.

My wife myself and our friends man and wife travelled to Alicante on the 28/12/2023 and stayed until the 04/01/2024 , on arrival the room was not ready . we were early about 10.00, left luggage and went out into Benidorm. Got back about 14.00 and the room 123 was ready , Room was spotlessly clean and well equipt , you will need a travel kettle and mugs as no supplies in room but there is a fridge. I found the staff always friendly and aproachable. The complex is well positioned in the old town with a supermarket close by and a pub on the corner with good food. This is open until 3 am and do show live sport. There is a roof area for sun worshiping and a pool although this was closed winter. roof area open and gym.

We stayed here from New Years Eve till 4th Jan on a short break .Ideally located near the beginning of Poinente Beach near the Marina. We had a standard room overlooking the back of the hotel. The staff were lovely ,very friendly and welcoming . We only used the restaurant once for breakfast and found a good selection of hot and cold buffet items and drinks . The room we had contained a dbl bed , desk & chair , small fridge and two built in wardrobes with a safe in one. The charge was €2 a night I believe for the safe but we didnt bother . We had a small balcony with table & chairs overlooking the side street . It didnt get any sun on that side of the building (room 112 ) . This wasnt an issue for us on a winter break but in summer if you like sitting out could be an issue . Only other down side we found was the noise from corridor and other rooms but also the pub on corner at closing time . Light sleepers might struggle . Didnt use the roof top terrace as pool and bar were closed for winter . Overall a nice little hotel with a great location and would stay again if we visit Benidorm .

Great location but due to the noise would never stay again Woke up every night at 3 and 4 in the morning and then the builders arrive at 7.30 across the road and you’re awake again We had a side seat view maybe if you had a room at the back you wouldn’t hear the noise as much Breakfast is fine although could be warmer

Well here we go warts and all . The hotel is lovely rooms clean and modern and maid service good - clean towels everday if you wish . Reception very good and helpful but some staff in the dining room were a little aloof and not too friendly. Food is typical self service in Spain and not very hot although there were 2 microwaves for you heat your food -if they serve an English breakfast they need to get it right - keep it hot don’t crisp your eggs and please buy proper bacon - would I stay again - yes it’s a lovely hotel

My friend and stayed at this hotel over Christmas and New year. The staff are amazing. Friendly and professional. The hotel was kept spotless our rooms cleaned everyday. Very comfortable bed and pillows and decent size bathroom. Location very good for old town shops and bars. We will definitely stay here again.

We took a 10 day vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary and chose this hotel. It was the best stay we have ever had in our many visits to Benidorm. The room was deluxe, absolutely stunning! The location was perfect as the beach was within minutes of walking, and you could be on the promenade within 5 minutes walking towards New Town. We mainly stayed in Old Town as it's more our scene and there are some fantastic Spanish bars in the back streets. The hotel staff were so polite and helpful, they made us feel comfortable even though the majority of the visitors were Spanish, they didn't mind us Brits. We went bed and breakfast and that blew us away, the selection to chose from each morning was amazing. Full cooked breakfasts / fruit / yoghurt / pastries / tomatoes on a selection of breads.....the list goes on!! They even opened cava for you to have along with the choice of fruit juices, coffee etc. The rooftop pool was very relaxing and there was always someone to serve us. We did see the gym, it looked perfectly adequate but we didn't train. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else now we have found this gem.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. Mirabella was especially nice and went out of her way to help us. The hotel is spotless and extremely tastefully decorated. Rooms were spacious with two double wardrobes plenty of hangers and comfy beds. Entertainment every night which added to the experience. The location is perfect for the beach and tapas alley is a few minutes away. Would definitely recommend this hotel its fabulous and so are the staff.
