I'm a local here and my parents came down to visit while on vacation. Although this place is not hidden it is quite the gem! We take all of our visitors here to play with the alligators. Its completely free to visit the park even if you don't want to eat at the restaurant plus they give a -15% locals and even bigger -20% discount for military and first responders. All the gator handlers here are truly professionals in their field and its obvious how much they care about their animals. I do want to shout out Fish and Josh for taking the time to answer all my parents questions and for making them laugh a whole lot while we waited for our table to be ready up stairs. My parents have told me multiple times that Gator Beach was an unexpected highlight of their vacation.

I was part of a family group of 21 people (10 0f them children). Last week we called ahead to let the front desk know that a large party was coming at about 11:30 AM. We bided our time by touring the Gator Pond and displays and were eventually called to our tables about 45 minutes later. We had one waitress taking orders for drinks and food (but she was helped by others during service). It took forever for everyone to get their drinks and the food took much longer. Our party didn't leave the restaurant until about 3 PM. Some of us had post-lunch travel plans out of the area and things were tense. I is understood that there may have been a capacity limit due to the pandemic but the wait for the food and drinks was inordinately long. Generally the food was good and portions were large (perhaps too large -- there was a lot of waste). One note: The pizza on the kid's menu was terrible and overpriced. Most of the kids in the party only took a few bites of the pizza and other food. I would recommend large parties to avoid this establishment.

We were staying in Santa Rosa Beach and thought this would be an interesting place to take our 4 year old granddaughter. It was rather small, lots of graffiti , so it felt grungy . For $5 you get a package of four pieces of gator food (think chunky dog food) , to put on a pole and dangle down into the water for the gators . The gators weren’t real attentive , they were mostly sunning . There was an opportunity for pictures with baby gators for $15 , we passed on that. It’s right off highway 98 in town in amongst shops . It’s in my opinion a tourists trap, but it could entertain for 10-15 minutes and it’s free .

This place was amazing!

Me and my family came and were able to spend hours here and have a blast. It was completely free as well, we chose to buy some food to feed them and to get our photo made holding one but they don't make you, you can literally just come in and they even have experts there to talk to you!

Ajani and David were so much fun and really taught our kids alot about the gators and even helped one with their fear! And while we were walking around their discovery area Trey took time to teach us all about the displays. His stories about Pearl were amazing and you can really tell the staff cares about their animal co-workers. He introduced us to the new guys! (Salty, Pepper and Lil Sugar) and had a good idea that we take a family photo next to them so when we come back we can see how much our kids and they're kids have grown lol. The staff rocked! And thank you again Ajani, David and Trey you guys were hilarious!

A must see if you have kids. Live alligators of all sizes. Large ones in pond area with pads for alligators to lay on. Small ones in tanks. Has small museum type pieces. Can feed the alligators, get picture taken with baby alligator. They even do live shows. You can visit the park that is located inside Fuddpuckers Restaurant for no charge; even if you don't eat at the restaurant.

The gator handler “Fish” was very insightful and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions. Thank you Fish for sharing your knowledge with us. We had a great time. The kids loved feeding the gators.

This is an awesome and fun place. It was very crowded but it was worth the wait. I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews. Some very uneducated person with the handle C S left a review that said they use the alligators as a food source in the restaurant once they reach a certain size. That is completely illegal, stupid, and wholly untrue!!! As a life long Florida girl “East Coast/ First Coast” we know how protected and regulate gators are. Wow 😮 …….. but I digress
We loved this place!!
Our children loved feeding and getting our pictures with a gator, playing in the Arcade on site, they even have a playground. All these things help to past the time while we waited for our dinner reservation. Our legal, farm raised food sourced dinner😉
I want to thank the young men who worked the photo booth who time extra time to answer our families questions and and made our youngest comfortable holding the alligator. . Robert and Ethan, guys are great!!

My children have been enjoying visits here for years. We still stop by anytime we are in the area to enjoy a little food and then feed the gators. Its free just to look at the gators or watch the staff feed them in the evenings. for $4 you can buy a very small bag of food and they let you use a pole with a long string attached with a clip to feed the gators. Lots of fun!

Recently my husband, daughter and I visited this wonderful, fun attraction. Gator Beach is kid friendly, clean area, with great staff, and made learning fun. Our experience with the staff was a breath of fresh air. Chris greeted us and explained what gator beach had to offer and made the options of things to do very easy to understand. Trey met us in the photo booth where he made our daughter confident enough to handle the alligator all by herself! Afterwards, we fed the gators and when we went back to return our poles we had questions, and the two men did an amazing job at giving us gator facts and so much knowledge about the alligators and what they do as alligator sanctuary. We will definitely be back to see the alligators, and to also book a VIP experience with Trey and Chris!
