We did the Morning Sail, Snorkel, & Kayak Excursion on May 1st and had a wonderful time. The wind was nonexistent so we had to motor to the dive area but inn return the sea was completely calm and clear so both the snorkeling and kayaking were great. Nate was very informative on both tours and spotted a lot of interesting wildlife. We were fortunate enough to come upon a pod of Dolphins cavorting around so the Captain cut the throttle and allowed us to drift for a bit while the dolphins put on a show for us. There were even a few babies evident. We were able to see a good variety of fish snorkeling including a stingray. I highly recommend this tour as it is a great value for the price and a public parking structure ($5 per hour) is available adjacent to the Danger Chandlery where you check in for the excursions.

After see the sailboats dance in the sunset from Mallory Square, we decided to be part of the dance the next evening.
We wanted a peaceful low key experience (as apposed to a party boat, saving that for another day) so Danger Charter wine tasting trip was recommended. As soon as we departed the wines started flowing and cheese and crackers and skewers of caprese brochettes were passed by the wonderful crew!
To be steered into the sunset was an experience not to be forgotten!
One tip: although the passed nibbles were tasty, the trip was about 2 hours and as the wine is great too, I do recommend having a bite to eat before launch. Or drink less wine? LOL. But once on board you’ll find the wine along with atmosphere hard to resist!

We had a fun, full day with Danger to bring in the new year! We were with Danger Charters from 9:15-3:00 and had a blast! Our captain was Brian, and Joe and Rachel were also on our boat with us.

When we first got on the boat (about 20 people), we all introduced ourselves and told where we were from. Next, we had a great ride out to a snorkel spot. Joe gave us some great history about Key West and the islands. I wasn’t expecting to learn while on our trip, but I definitely did!

We went to a great snorkel spot and kayaked through some mangroves. We stuck with Rachel during the kayaking, and if you are interested learning about the plants/animal life, stay close by because she shares information during the kayak tour. It was great!

We were served sandwiches, cheese and crackers, pasta salad, and quinoa salad for lunch. We were also given chips, salsa, and hummus as a snack on our way back to the dock. It was all so great!

My favorite part of the tour was that it was so small and personal. Both guides, Joe and Rachel, spoke to each group. They asked where we were from, what kind of jobs we did, etc. They knew basically everyone’s names in the first 20 minutes of our trip! They would yell our names across the boat while they were getting refills to make sure we didn’t need refills. It was definitely the best service I have gotten on any type of tour!

I would highly suggest going on an adventure with Danger Charters! We will definitely be back with them on our next trip to Key West!

You cannot go wrong with the great sailors at Danger Charters. My wife and I took a 2 hour cruise on the Danger’s Prize this evening. The crew— Meg, Brianna, Captain Bronza— et al— really made the trip enjoyable and fun. From the great sailing to the wonderful wines, to the great hors devours, this evening couldn’t have been more perfect or beautiful. If you’re looking for a sunset sail trip and you don’t book with Danger Charter, you’re short-changing yourself. There are a lot of options in Key West, but you won’t have more fun than with these guys!

This is THE company to choose for a sunset cruise!! Yes, it’s a bit pricier than others but there were only 25 of us (including the crew). There’s a nice selection of beer offered in addition to the wine and the snacks were fabulous. It was a very cloudy day and the crew could tell most of us were bummed that we wouldn’t see the sunset but they made it so enjoyable that it didn’t matter. Then, much to our surprise, the clouds broke just in time to see an amazing sunset. I’d use this company again for any of my boating excursions!!

Danger Charters are simply the best! My husband, Kris and I were recently married in Key West. Kris hails from America and I am from Australia. As a kick off to our wedding weekend, we surprised our immediate family with a private charter. It was the best way to start our weekend of celebrations!

Prior to booking I did a lot of research online, I read countless reviews, reached out to people and mulled (sometimes painstakingly) over decisions. Danger Charters were very prompt with email responses, they answered all questions and the booking process was super simple.

13 adults and 2 babies (under 1 year of age) enjoyed a half-day cruise. We started off by sailing out to a coral reef; the clear blue water was only made more perfect by dolphins jumping alongside the boat. We went snorkeling, with all equipment provided, amongst lots of fish, sharks and beautiful coral. We enjoyed a stop of a sand bar, complete with beer/wine and nibbles. The three-crew members (ENTER NAMES) were all professional, fun, and, knowledgeable. If you are looking at chartering a boat, Danger Charters are a fabulous company that will not only tailor the experience to meet your needs but will also go over and beyond to make your experience the best!

This was our first time ever on a schooner and we couldn’t have picked a better trip! The crew were super friendly and funny and made a point to get to know your name. The boat is nice and it was exhilarating when the turned the motor off and put the sails up and we guided through the water! We saw dolphins, shrimp boats, historical points and of course the sunset was amazing. The different wines and appetizers were a nice touch. We plan to come back and do a longer excursion with this company!!

I felt like I was sailing with my friends!! We just spent a week in the keys and did not one but TWO Danger Charters and cannot recommend it enough! On Sunday night we enjoyed a wonderful evening on the water for Wind & Wine Sunset Cruise. Let’s just talk about the food! Delicious cheeses, fruits, sausage and combinations I wouldn’t have put together- but were absolutely delicious! The wines flowed plentifully and we really appreciated how generous the pours were, and sometimes even got seconds and thirds on a tasting! The crew (Dan, Nikko and Mary) were phenomenal. They made everyone feel comfortable and were very insightful about the wines and the environment. The whole experience was such an inviting and enjoyable event that we decided to cancel our booking with Fury the next day and rebooked with Danger for a half day excursion!!! SO GLAD WE DID THIS! Shanna (I’m so sorry if that’s not how you spell this!), Emily & Rose were fantastic!! From the moment we entered the boat they made us laugh and I thoroughly enjoyed their company. It felt like a privilege to be a part of their crew!! Overall, I could tell from the outside how commercial another company felt, but with Danger you really feel like you’re working with a boutique company who cares about your preferences and comfort. We cannot wait to come back to the Keys and will surely be coming back to Danger!!

Wonderful experience even on a cold January day with 70 degree water temps. We took the 4 hr afternoon sail with eco tour of snorkeling and kayaking and the crew of 3 was so friendly and helpful. We were on the 60 plus foot Danger an modern schooner with real working sails. It was a blast watching the crew raise the sails.

The only thing that I would say that could make this better was better snorkels and masks. You might want to bring your own as their snorkels are the basic child like dollar store ones and you can end up gulping sea water. They did have wet suits for us which was a must. We only lasted 20 min in the cold January water.

The kayak around Mule key and the history of the birds and their conservation and of Key West was very interesting! The tour guides were knowledgeable, witty and professional.

The snacks were ok and many enjoyed the open bar of beer wine and soda.

My wife and i visited Key West for the first time and took Danger charter's half-day sailing excursion to do some snorkeling and kayaking. The crew was fun , entertaining and highly interactive which made the sailing portion quite enjoyable. The coral reef where we snorkeled was fun, the crew helped us spot fish and other aquatic life, and the kayaking around the island netted 3 small shark sightings!
