Improve communication between staff and agents online selling the experience. My family and I had printed copies from happytovisit.com. We tried to use them on 29th June but had to pay another 25 euros as the driver wouldn't accept our printed vouchers as they did not have a QR code. I asked him to phone the Julia tours number but was told it didn't exist. The whole experience was embarrassing and inconvenient.

We decided to take the train around Fuengirola.
The driver spoke very good English as he came round to take our money and give us the tickets.
We stayed on all the way round the first time but did notice the driver seemed a little reluctant to stop to let people off or back on again.
The second time we stopped at the Roman ruins. We spent an hour looking round, had a drink at the cafe then walked back to the stop to wait for the train to come back.
Imagine our surprise when we saw the train returning, hailed him to stop and he just carried on straight past claiming it was full. There were many free places on the carriages. So there we were, stranded, 3 miles away from the harbour.
We had no choice but to walk back as the next train would have been in 1 and a half hours.
We returned to the harbour area kiosk to ask for our money back at which point the previously fluent English speaker couldn't speak English any more and kept asking, in Spanish, if we had signed a contract for him to pick us up again.
We will not use this train again and if you don't want to be stranded make sure you don't use it if its more than half full. The driver doesn't seem to understand the principle of "Hop on, Hop off"

This road train which departs from near the marina is a good way of getting a feel for the area and, as it is hop on hop off, a good way of visiting the Mirador shopping centre or the Tuesday market.
Costs 4 euros for senior citizens plus 50 cents for earphones and the round trip takes around 1 1/4 hours.

A complete waste of money and time, no handy map, no audio service (unless you bring your own headphones with the small jack). Stopped twice, really couldn't care less. Sorry we always try local train tours and this has to be the worst. June 2022

Staff were miserable and unhelpful, asking for a map as stated on the website, and was told no map you look Internet. Unfortunately couldn't find any map. The driver was driving too fast, almost ran into the back of another and we fell off the seats . The speed ramps in road each time we left our seats.
Audio we couldn't hear as our speakers were not working. Definitely not 40 mins as stated. Missed many stops.
It's not expensive but it's not worth the 6 euro.

The driver only spoke Spanish. He didn't help with my wheelchair. So only accessible if you can fold your wheelchair and lift it on to the train. He didn't stop at stop points. Only at the mall. So we couldn't choose to get off. He didn't pass the castle. And if you have a bad back, don't take this tour!!
We should definitely get a refund, as it's not what they promise.

In October 2012 a new hop on / hop off train was introduced in the city. You have 5 stops to choose from, and you can get on and off the entire day long, for one low price. The entire trip takes approximately 45 minutes, and you have 5 stops to choose from. The stops are: Plaza Teresa Zabell, The Roman Ruins, Street Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Bioparc, and the shopping centre Parque Myramar. Between these stops you’ll have most of the town covered. The train is not actually a train, but instead two carriages on wheels, each capable of carrying 28 people. While you ride along you can listen to a guided tour in 8 different languages. There are ramps for the disabled available as well.
Prices run 1.85 euro for children under 7, and 6.50 euro for adults. For this price you get a pass for the entire day, and you can hop on and off as many times as you like. A single trip around costs 4.50 euros and 2 euros for a child. The hours of operation change throughout the year. In the low season the train is operated from 10:00 to 17:15 (approximately hourly departures), and in the high season they are keeping the wheels turning until 20:30. If you are traveling in the super-high season you’ll get another few hours of operation: July and August has rides going until 23:15.
The city is not that interesting from a casual riders point of view but it is a way to see the Town.

We decided to take a round trip on the hop-off and hop-on train which gave us a mini tour of Fuengirola. It had stops at some of the main attractions and was rather cheap as the ticket lasted for the whole day. It was a good way to see parts of Fuengirola and rather relaxing. I would recommend this if you've never been to Fuengirola before to get an idea of the place.

No headphones provided as per advertisement. Paid €51 for 5 adults and 4 children. We were taken for a ride around Fuengirola town and brought back. We're not sure what we paid for very uncomfortable and no sound (as per advertisement) explaining where we are going etc. Sorry i dont like giving negative feedback and this is my first time giving negative feedback on trip advisor but i dont want anyone to waste their money.

Can use this as a quick way to see the town or as a drop off service to get to various attractions. Starts on seafront and takes you up to los boliches before heading back through town past the zoo and bullring towards the castle and shopping complex before heading back along the front. Worth a few euros to experience
