Beach was very pebbly and shale so you actually had to buy those rubber pool shoes to get into the sea and swim. Way to hard on feet without them honestly I wasn't fussed on buy buying them at 9 euro but they were a Godsend. The best bit was the clear blue sea to swim in so lovely. Also the luxurious sun beds and chairs were free, then you bought drinks and lunch or snax from the beach bar beside it.

you decided if you want to pay for sun beds and an umbrella or just sunbath in the sun on your towel on the beach. It is really beautiful. Not far from the town and the port so a few nice waves come in :-) which we found awesome

Look out for Helen’s beach service with the yellow sun loungers. We found this spot on day 2 and we’re so pleased to have stumbled across her! She provides the absolute best service and is always happy. The neighbouring beach clubs play non-stop music (covers) and the loungers are so close together - avoid if you’re looking for something more authentic. This little spot made our trip, thanks so much Helen xx

We have just come back from this beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel .
Where the manager and staff are walking around asking if everything is ok .
We said in the hotel which was beautiful very clean and a lovely lady who cleaned our room to a very high standard and I am very fussy indeed
The view was amazing
My son had a bungalow which again was beautiful, which over looked the quiet pool which was again beautiful, and our daughter and family had another bungalow which overlooked the sea , and again very clean .
The food was very good a large selection for everyone.
We had an amazing wk here
Thank you so much for making our holiday special

We went here most days to have lunch and later chill on the beach. It's pebbly, so wear rubber shoes, you'll need them. Excellent eateries/bars by the sea. I'd recommend the middle stretch, i.e. not the busier town end or the quieter northern end. I found the beach just wide enough here with the better restaurants.

Peaceful place, with blu sea.
Little km of the town city, you can find this place.
You can put your beach sheet or buy with little money umbrellas and loungers.
Additionally beach you can drink a delicious drink at the beautiful and charming bar just being the beach.
I would raccomed it, worth a visit.

Kos Town is a pleasant and relaxing location. My Wife and I spent many days and evenings enjoying the town in the course of exploring the historic locations, shops and restaurants.
You can approach the town from several directions. However, if you get lost on the seafront, the roads star burst from the Dolphin roundabout. There are two bus stations, so check carefully if planning bus travel. Google directions proved useful on one occasion when we wandered inland behind the town. Bicycles are readily available for hire and very much in evidence. Seafront walking towards The Marina does share path and cycle track at some pinch points, so keep an eye on the cyclists !
Great views, relaxing location and many vessels offer day trips and Three Island Tours from the Harbour area. Check the prices and confirm they include lunch. As not all do and are in fact more expensive. We travelled on the Dulce Vita and would recommend the trip. There is plenty to do, enjoy. We intend to return.

Relaxed beach with lots of options for sunbeds - usually attached to a bar over the road. Some have better beds than others, with umbrellas or thick cushions. Standard price is 2.50€ per bed including umbrella, and most throw in a bottle of water for that price too.
Great views out across the water to Turkey and also to watch the boats coming and going. Certainly not busy in early October when it's still hot. Some parts sandy some stony.
