Ballymena Showgrounds

A very good Irish league ground now. There is also an excellent 3G training pitch beside the main pitch and modern facilities in changing rooms etc

Great family day enjoyed by all. The weather was good and there was a lovely friendly family atmosphere. This show is well worth a visit. Its on every year last weekend in may. Venue great.

The show grounds provide good facilities for football and other sporting activities. There is parking within the ground. There are hot and cold beverages and food available on match days and there is a family atmosphere so everyone can enjoy the game

With Ballymena starting the league well, I decided to pay the ground a visit. It sits on the edge of Ballymena and is easily accessible. As well as the main stadium their are other pitches around it. Ticket prices aren't too bad. Looks impressive will have to see it on match day!!

I attended the stock car racing in Ballymena showgrounds on 9th September. What a night!!!
The racing was intense, the atmosphere was electric and the venue was superb.
The whole nights racing went like clock work, one race stopped and within a few minutes another race was ready to go.
The pits are open and you can walk around and watch the drivers and mechanics work at the car. It was a really great night. A good family friendly event and I will definitely return.

The facilities for Football and Hockey at the Showgrounds are first class. The stadium is a mecca for purveyors of the beautiful game.
