Travel by Luxe

It has always been a dream of mine to go to Italy. In the fall of 2023 we decided it was time and began to look into it. It was me, my wife, and two young children (6 & 8). I decided the easiest would be to have someone else do the planning for us. I looked at different travel companies but the poor reviews made me nervous. I then came across Travel by Luxe with many great reviews. Now here I am adding to them because of how outstanding my experience was. If you are planning on traveling, look no further than Luxe.
I reached out to Luxe with the places I wanted to visit, from Rome to Sicily and a stop on the way to visit relatives .Francesca was able to create my dream itinerary with everything I wanted and more. My mother, brother, and sister-in-law also decided to join us so we now had a group of 7, which was no problem for Francesca to adjust. She was so easy to work with and patient with all of the many questions I had (there were MANY). Since this was the first time my family was doing anything like this I was nervous, but working with her put me at ease. She answered my emails promptly, we also spoke on the phone, and set up a virtual call. She was sick and out of the office at the time of our virtual meeting so she had someone else, Marta, cover for her. She was also amazing and helpful. We had a few changes due to flight and other reasons and Francesca was able to easily accommodate and make changes. Once the trip was booked and finalized I was then connected to Vittoria. I still felt comfortable and knew I was still in good hands. Again, responsive to my emails and questions. She shared our working itinerary with all of the specific information such as times, meeting places, and names of the drivers and tour guides that were available at the time. We also had a virtual meeting with her to discuss any questions or concerns we had. We traveled to Italy and all through the trip I was comfortable because I knew Vittoria was working behind the scenes. On her day off she referred us to Francesca to assist us when needed.
From when we stepped off the plane in Italy, until we boarded the plan leaving Italy two weeks later, everything was set for us so we could just enjoy ourselves. Our itinerary was jam packed with all the touristy things. It was amazing! We had an outstanding time and experienced so many amazing things. My children especially have experienced something many others are not able to. I am especially grateful they were able to include our stop to visit my relatives. We were able to see where my great-grandfather lived and worked and also had a home cooked meal. Which I must say was the best food I have ever had! Throughout the entire trip it was so surreal that I was actually there. I cannot thank Francesca and Vittoria enough for the work they put into my family’s trip. It is an experience I will not soon forget.

Yet another fantastic experience with Travel by Luxe.
We just returned from 3-week vacation in Spain and Portugal. As previous vacations, Travel by Luxe team did a fantastic job in ensuring all drivers, accommodations and tour guides were perfectly scheduled. The travel team stayed in daily contact with us in providing day to day schedule along with driver information as well as event and train tickets they had accommodated from their end. Fantastic customer service. Fantastic operation efficiency.
Safe, on time, reliable and reasonable in cost.
We will use travel by Luxe for all out trips to Europe.

Travel by Luxe was excellent. The organized a private driver for us from Florence to Rome, traveling through three Tuscan towns for walking around. And a separate driver from Rome to Sorrento, stopping in Pompeii for a tour. Both drivers were on time, professional, had very clean, nice vans. It was so much easier and less stressful than trying to navigate the train system and get our luggage and party from our Vrbo‘s to the train stations.

Communication with Giulia via email and ‎WhatsApp was excellent and they confirmed the driver and driver’s WhatsApp number with me the day before pick up.
We couldn’t have been more happy with our experience with Travel by Luxe! I would give them the highest rating and would definitely use them again!
