The Beverly Hills Hotel
For over a century The Beverly Hills Hotel has been the chosen place for Hollywood's brightest lights. She greets you like a movie star from the moment you step onto the red carpet and enter the grand lobby. Fondly nicknamed the 'Pink Palace', the hotel's 12-acre gardens and famous pool offer an experience that shimmers with history and glamour. Spacious suites pay homage to the legacy, while bungalows offer the true Hollywood experience inspired by their famous guests. No restaurant conjures the magic of Hollywood quite like The Polo Lounge. This sought-after spot has long been the favourite of LA stars and deal-makers. For casual dining, discover The Fountain Coffee Room or relax poolside at The Cabana Cafe. For other memorable moments, indulge at the newly restored spa.

We decided to go to the hotel to enjoy a drink or two at the Polo Lounge. The bar was nice, with a good selection. I expected to pay a premium for drinks there. What I did not anticipate was that as I got my car back from the valet, they asked for $20. This is with the restaurant validation! There was no mention of this from the valet as I gave them the car. This was totally unprofessional.

I have stayed here about a dozen times over the past 30 years and each visit was for a girls trip. No place better to go to make you feel relaxed and special. EACH AND EVERY team member at BHH is outstanding. Granted, we pay a price to be treated so well, but most of the staff is truly genuine in the way they treat you as a guest. Or.... they deserve an Oscar for their performance :) The hotel is warm and welcoming from the moment you pull up. There are other luxury hotels in the area but they don't have the warm feeling that BHH has. The staff remembers who you are (how do they do that so well with so many guests?) and call you by name; Mrs. Smith, Mr. Jones. The rooms are SO comfortable and well appointed. The only suggestion I have is, if necessary, request a rollaway bed over using the sofa bed. We needed an extra bed for our visit and I was told that the couch was extremely comfortable (as I knew the rollaway's were from previous stays). Unfortunately, the sofa bed is not that great. The lighting systems in the rooms are wonderful - they can be set to one of four settings with a touch of a button. We enjoyed the complimentary bicycles. They made for a fun afternoon. Concierege is AMAZING. Polo Loung and Coffee Shop staff AWESOME. Housekeeping and Front Desk and Bellmen are SUPERB. Past years the pool attendants were really good, but this year they and the staff at the Cabana Cafe were just okay. Fitness center is small but well appointed. One of my travel companions got a massage by John in the spa. She wont shut up about how good it was! In the past I had a really bad experience there and should have spoken up about it. Some of the staff was aware of what happened and it disappoints me that no one came to me afterwards. We checked out the next morning and I was was still in shock at that time so I never stood up for myself. To this day I have a sour taste in my mouth from that, but other than that and one other minor incident everything has been perfect. It's pricy at BHH but well worth it. Splurge and enjoy yourself - YOU WONT REGRET IT!

The hotel consistently exceeds my exceptions and level of service time and time again, noting a VERY personal touch of caring! The rooms are great (very comfy) Executive superior and above! It’s old schools Hollywood meets new stream comfort! The concierges and entire support team makes you feel like a superstar! ***** 5+ Stars

My partner and I visited the Polo Lounge twice in June 2022 (visiting from the UK) and were so impressed with the whole of Beverly Hills that we returned again for two weeks and visited another few times for dinner reservations. We were treated like royalty throughout each visit, the employees and concierge were so friendly and bubbly, the food was to die for (I’d recommend the soufflé for dessert!) and there are so many wonderful things to say about the people there, the food and the overall experience. We were, however, left with a very sour taste in our mouths this morning when we returned to buy some souvenirs from the gift shop downstairs. The girls on the desk were very unwelcoming and came across extremely rude and unhelpful - we did feel like they didn’t want us there. They chewed their gum and didn’t bring their eyes up from their screen when we tried to ask them the prices of the gifts and even upon checkout they were extremely abrupt. We usually do not come on to write negative reviews, especially in somewhere like this where we enjoy so much, but I just want others to beware of this. For this reason we have chosen to give 4 stars but I want to make it clear that the Polo Lounge and the employees upstairs provide a 5-star service always!

My husband and I have been visiting The Beverly Hills Hotel regularly since 2005. Sometimes 2-3 times a year. We live in Denmark, but love California, and especially The Beverly Hills Hotel. One thing I don’t understand, is how expensive it has become. In 2017 we paid 675$ for a superior room with balcony. Today we have to pay double! So this September we shorten our stay from 5 to 3 nights, because of the high prices. That makes me sad, and I am wondering why the prices have gone so high? Best Wishes Gita Elimar Denmark 🇩🇰

The Beverly Hills Hotel is my favorite place in the whole world...hands down! My daughter is in college now, but when she was about eight years old, I started taking her there at least once a year...usually two or three times. We love staying there, and when we're not there, we're planning our next trip there. Why do we love it? Well, the grounds are gorgeous! The interiors are incredible.! The exteriors are exquisite! The service is superb! But for us, what it all comes down to is this: the people who work there make the place what it is! I don't know if they hire well or train well, but I suspect it's both, because everywhere we turn, there are helpful, friendly employees who seem genuinely happy to be there. I must give kudos to HR and the hotel management, because we all know finding/training/keeping good employees is difficult these days, but somehow, they do it...and the service is always great! On this most recent trip, we arrived June 26 and were welcomed by the smiling faces of the valet team at the red carpet entrance. This group could teach classes on how to run the valet service; they are professional, friendly, and on the ball! We checked in at the front desk and were promptly shown to our room (more on that later) by a member of the front desk staff. Our bags were delivered shortly thereafter. We were absolutely thrilled with our Beverly Hills Suite on the first floor and the lovely, spacious patio. We have stayed in lots of different room types, and this one was one of our favorites. Consisting of a living room, a large bedroom, a nice-sized closet, and 1.5 baths, the suite gave us lots of room to relax. And the patio? Wow! We had a large sofa/table and a dining table on our patio. We literally napped outdoors one afternoon of our stay. Because this stay was shorter than our usual stays, we had all our meals at the hotel. Normally, we are there for longer and try to have at least one meal a day in the hotel...because the food and service are great, and because we like to support the hotel! This time, we had been visiting friends in the area for a few days prior and had dined at other great restaurants around town, so we decided we would dine only at the hotel during our stay. As always, the Polo Lounge (favorite dishes: rigatoni bolognese or Wagyu burger), the Cabana Cafe (we love the truffle fries, but I also love the two egg breakfast), and the Fountain Coffee Room (pancakes!) were fantastic. Each restaurant has its own personality, but the service is great at each. We ordered coffee and chocolate croissants from in-room dining in the mornings, and we enjoyed them on our patio...it doesn't get any better, in my opinion. We did spend a little time at the pool, and we checked out the new Dior boutique on the pool landing...a must see, for sure. In summary, our stay was spectacular but too short. We love The Beverly Hills Hotel and consider it our own personal oasis! The people who work there know how to make everyone feel special, and we always hate to leave. However, we know we will return, so it takes the sting out just a little. We will be back during the holidays, and already, we can hardly wait!

Amazing hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills. Stayed in August 2022. Experience was superb from check in to check out. Staff went above and beyond for any request whatsoever. Rooms very high quality and spotlessly clean. Pool beautiful as is the rest of the grounds. Polo Lounge also a great place to eat and have a few drinks. Likely to see a celeb or two here. Town car service is also excellent and complimentary to guests. Pool and breakfast was also amazing. Only issue was that I was charged the next guest to stay in our rooms expenses by accident a few days after check out. Whilst this was immediately fixed when I contacted the hotel, as I am from overseas I still had the pay the international transaction fee costs on my credit card which was a bit disappointing. In summary - looking forward to my next visit! You can’t beat the Beverly Hills! It’s the best.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is my idea of the perfect place. I have written many reviews, and this one is just the latest. We have stayed here countless times over the years, and our most recent visit, during the holidays, was every bit as glorious as every stay we have ever had! Everything about this hotel is awesome, of course. You know it is well-managed as soon as you arrive. The architecture is incredible. Every time I visit, I see more details in the architecture that I love. We have stayed in many room types. On this most recent stay, we were in a junior suite...beautiful space with great outdoor space and convenient to everything within the hotel. It's no surprise, I'm sure, to hear the hotel is beautiful, but what I find most impressive about The Beverly Hills Hotel is the people who work there. They are warm, friendly, and inviting! We have made many friends there at the front desk, in housekeeping, in the restaurants, and on our most recent visit, I even met some lovely people from accounting! We love this place. It's an oasis in the Los Angeles area. Highly recommend!
