Show more...This bookshop is amazing, full of literary, educational and artistic wonders. Ancient books, are not the only source of stories here- be sure to talk with the seller on a cold windy October evening if you manage to. Worth the visit even if you are not planning to buy anything- who knows, you may find something you did not know you need.

The sky blue shop front caught my eye, seemingly straight from a Lewis Carroll novel. A display window is filled with stacks of old books, giving the air of an era long lost. I couldn't help but enter. Inside, the cramped bookstore is filled with wonderful novels, maps, and some alleged first prints. There are also numerous postcards and paper products for sale. The shop-owner, a quiet friendly man, lets you browse the aisles without notice. The smell is musty, the ambience like the heart of an ancient library, or old-school general store. It's as if you've stepped into a different time. May this wonderful little store continue to thrive and may lovers of books and old volumes like myself get to visit in the future.
