Shirley Park

On visiting the Halfords store, unable to park in Disabled Bay ( Blue Badge Holder), due to someone thought of parking in the bay without displaying a badge. ? If they ever had a badge, or just choose to exploit their "Big Car" ephois.
Anyway, just want to share my opinion with all.

Upto a few years ago the park was great now just seems full of teenagers, messy and continuous smell of weed. Wardens or even police presence would benefit

Great playground for younger kids. Also zip line and larger climbing frame for older ones.
Well maintained and loads of poke stops which my little boy loves
Only downside no loo!

Lol I don’t really know how to say this but having grown up here no I don’t like it, especially at night when the shifty kids come out with alcohol etc. Lots of incidents happened here in the past but it’s got a good playground for kids lmao maybe I’m just scarred from childhood😂😂😂

Strange that a respectable location like Shirley should have such an unsafe dive of a park. There is a good play area for younger kids and a basketball court & skatr park if you don't mind being surrounded by druggies and alcoholics.

Plenty for kids of all ages to do and play on. Ice cream van always there. Kids love it here

A very good park for children to play in. There are plenty of activities to participate in. The location is excellent just yards away from all the high street shops. The wife took ages shopping as ever lol while I took the little one to play in the park.

Lovely park and spent many years in this park during a child. It has been well maintained and it has been good.

Lovely park, take a picnic, good play area, outside gym, dog agility course, good for cycling with young children. Walking distant to shops, restaurants. There's a great rugby club (Camp Hill) next to the park too.

This park is an ideal place for all the family ,great play area & fitness trail ,there are plenty of benches and all the amenities are well laid out
