We love this park. So much space, spotlessly clean, beautiful flowerbeds (well done to the gardeners).

Cafe is good but very small and crowded. It’s always busy but it never feels like they have enough staff which means tables (and especially under the tables) are left dirty. The queue for takeaway drinks was out the door yesterday. A little hut for takeaway drinks would be a great addition!

After a lovely family lunch, all feeling full we decided a walk was a good idea, even though it was drizzling we still set off. Beautiful Victorian park, well kept, the dog walkers were friendly too. There's even a little coffee place, which does serve good coffee as well.

Really clean, beautiful, big park. Perfect place for walking dogs (or just seeing them if you don’t have one yourself!). Always a lovely atmosphere, can be a bit busy in school holidays or weekends.

The park is family friendly with beautifully maintained grounds.

Parking is free, as are the fitness facilities and tennis/basketball courts.

There seemed to be lots of activities for children and a cute little coffee shop, that parents should definitely access, where I enjoyed tea and cake.

A great park with a ‘safe’, clean feel.

Great turnout for the 11.00am Service, the park is a great location for the memorial. Lovely walk around the park afterwards in the sunshine. Just wish that some dog owners would keep their pets under control.

Also the local authority need to sort out the tree that has fallen into the pool as you cannot do the path circuit.

Other than that still the best park locally.

I absolutely love this well laid out park .. There are plenty of activities and things to do to help keep my grandchildren occupied ..we visited yesterday (easter sunday ) as it was a lovely sunny bank holiday for a change so obviously there were a lot of people about to enjoy the glorious sunshine ..what i couldn't understand was ..why the toilets next to the childrens play area were shut? Easter Sunday ..toilets shut!! !!! Dont make sense to me ..yes they were open next to the coffee shop but ..if your little one is caught short what do you do?? If you want the public to use the park then the amenities should be open to the public ..

The local council have spent a lot of money developing this park. A visitor centre and sports centre is situated next to the small lake and there are tennis courts, bowling green and a basket ball court as well as refreshment areas.

A great local resource to stroll around with a good quality cafe for drinks or snacks including breakfast. Take a walk around the pond full of wild water birds, you can even buy some cheap proper feed for them. (No bread please). Various sporting facilities including an outside gym, children's play area and and ideal place to walk the dog.
