Cafe overpriced
I had some business to attend to and whilst in the area ,decided to stretch my legs and take a walk in the park. I remembered from some years ago there was a cafe in need of repair in the grounds. I assumed all these years later it would have been revamped. It wasn't. It cost over seven pounds for a coffee that I couldn't finish as it wasn't great and a small and not particularly memorable piece of carrot cake. I'd planned on eating in as the weather wasn't that good however, once I'd eaten the cake (which didn't take long given the size) I decided I'd prefer to be outside rather than in. Overall I felt that in this area, people are getting poor value for money, which is a shame as many of the local community appear not to have a lot to start with. I wouldn't bother again.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to The Magazine Pub and The Pilot Boat Pub and walked through Vale Park and what a pretty little park this is .
Well kept ,nice play area's for the kids,a cafe and bench seating,a lovely tranquil oasis of calm just of the promenade, on our visit Vale Park was busy ,it was nice to see things slowly getting back to normal with some of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions being kifted.
A beautiful park ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Been to this park many times over the years. Love all the handmade statues and features around the park. There is a children’s play area and a cafe that sells ice cream etc..it’s right next to the beach so it’s nice to have a little walk along the prom whilst visiting the park.

My mum and I come here almost every year and it's such a lovely park. Sad to see the rose garden gone, but what's there in its place is a very sweet way of remembering lost loved ones. I wonder if they knew that the rose garden was often used as a way to remember those who've passed. This park holds a lot of memories for me.

I told my fiancée we would go take the kids to a fairy park, she laughed as she thought it would be a load of cheap fairy doors stuck to trees, we arrived at the park to loud authentic music coming from a bandstand located in front of a crowd on colourful deck chairs, after a cold drink and stroll the kids eyes lit up as the wooden sculptures and fairy village appeared in front of us. We had a great day exploring this well looked after park and a rewarding kiss and thank you from my better half for introducing the family to this little haven was worth it 👍🏻

We visited new Brighton today to see this and the black pearl and it was just fantastic the kids loved it so did I, full of enchantment when we arrived at the park there was some children's entertainment on the bandstand. it was only 50p each to enter and I heard it runs all through summer the kids had a dance and both won a prize, we then went in search of the fairies which we had came for and they did not disappoint absolutely stunning.

I often visit here with our grandchildren and have done for many years it's clean, well kept, and very pleasant, there are swings and a playground for children, a beautiful rose garden, and the bandstand, throughout the summer they have joy time, its 50p to enter and you can sit in a proper deckchair, your children are entertained and can enter a talent contest. There is also a cafe in the park which is not overpriced, and best of all there is a fairy garden the people who built the black pearl pirate ship have made fairy houses out of drift wood or recycled things it's amazing. go along and see for yourself and from vale park you can walk along the promenade a wonderful experience to fire your children's imagination

Vale park has been a family &friends favourite for years. Cafe. Lovely little walk for the children to find the fairy houses . You can hear their excitement . Great weekends sitting in the sun listening to the bands play from the band stand. Dancing singing. Deck chairs available on first come bases. Must pay a visit. You wont be disappointed.
