Found in the heart of Manchester, within the upper King Street conservation area, King Street Townhouse hotel is unmatched in hosting memorable experiences with a thoughtfully personal touch. Whether it's celebrating a special occasion with one of our signature King Street Townhouse afternoon teas, carving out a slice of 'me time' in the seventh-floor infinity pool, stopping by for a bite of British cuisine and a drink in our Tavern restaurant and bar (open to non-residents too) or getting a treatment in our new King Street Townhouse Gym & Spa facilities — we can't wait to welcome you. Our iconic Italian renaissance building has stood for 140 years, designed by local architect Edward Salomons, and is your key to a city of music, history, culture and vibrant nightlife.
Show more...Top class hotel in the heart of Manchester. Friendly reception staff. Had the spa to ourselves which was spotless. We got upgraded as it was a special occasion. Room was comfy and clean. Only flaw was not being able to sit in the bar in your robes. Would highly reccomend KSTH.
Show more...I needed a luxury private dining experience for my software company and my goodness I’m so glad I found Amy at King’s Street. She provided a 5 star service in understanding my needs and working to my schedule. The evening was excellent, our clients loved the food, the atmosphere and the exceptional service from Zozo and CJ. All of our future events will be at King street from now on.
Show more...KSTH is a smart, slick hotel in a great city centre location - right at the heart of action yet also tucked away on a quiet side street. The communal areas are lovely and all smell amazing, and the design is nicely quirky and individual without being OTT. I was in a 'snug' room, the entry level category, but found the room size perfectly adequate for a short city break. The rainfall showers are blissfully powerful, with great Espa toiletries. My only criticism at the price point is that the only free food/drink option is tea/coffee - everything else is chargeable via the minibar. The top floor infinity pool is a definite highlight, even though the town hall clock it looks out on is covered in plastic (clearly not the hotel's fault) - and great that you can come and go as you please (I did with some regularity!). I ate in the Tavern one evening and enjoyed my meal, and thought breakfast was excellent - all table service including homemade banana loaf, pastries, yoghurt etc, then cooked options (full English, eggs benedict and pancakes all excellent). Overall, a great choice for a city break in Manchester.
Show more...Thank you team King St for making our anniversary celebration absolutely perfect! The spa, the treatments, the room, the pool, the view, the food, the cocktails, the people.. we absolutely loved xx From start to finish, we felt so special, a great experience x Can't wait to go again!
Show more...We had a 2 day business meeting in the hotel with a night stay over. The hotel was extremely helpful and the rooms were divine. Special thank you to Kia who answered my endless questions very quickly. The people looking after us during the day were very good, really helpful and polite. The food was the highlight, 10/10 from everyone! The only negative to say is although they provide a screen to attach a laptop, you can't do any zoom calls so we had to do that through a laptop which changes the experience. Other than than, really great stay thanks so much.
Show more...Been coming to the townhouse for the past couple of years, this year we chose to have a spa day too, this was huge mistake. The customer service we faced was non existent even on the line of rude. Having booked a certain treatment for the both of us when arriving we were told we one of the treatments had changed, with no reasoning to why. After entering the spa we spent over 2 hours without a single person asking if we wanted a drink or a check up (we were the only couple there) When it came to lunch, I asked for a beer what was given to me 1/3 in my dinner. We then proceeded to wait nearly an hour for the desserts (what was pre ordered), someone came over to explain they were coming due to the bar being super busy. This was a lie as we heard the staff over talk to say one of the chiefs had 'gone missing' and were joking around while we were in full ear shot. At not one point were we offered another drink! At the end of the spa experience we were not asked if we enjoyed our time and i think i know why. The room it self was nice and clean however there was a ton of noise form the room opposite, this was mentioned to reception however don't think nothing was done. In a nutshell little waste of £800 and will be finding a new hotel to go too.
Show more...Thank you to Amy Salvaggio from the events team for working effortlessly in securing us private meeting rooms, and reserving tables in the Tavern. Amy took away all the stress in organizing meeting space and hosting a few events we have held over the last three weekends. Over the last few weeks we have had the VIP treatment, the King Street Townhouse team have created an amazing atmosphere with an extra mention to Tim and Alice for going above and beyond with their hospitality . The service has been outstanding , what a wonderful venue . The food has been excellent , I would recommend the steak sandwich !
Show more...Outstanding place to stay. We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable with a quality shower and lovely bath. Everyone super friendly. The amenities were great - we had both a good breakfast and a cocktail in the restaurant. The rooftop outdoor pool is brilliant - not for swimming but as a hot tub experience. The spa next door has an excellent gym. The spa itself was a bit underwhelming / the sauna wasn’t working the day we came - but the relaxation room did exactly as promised. Overall it was even better than advertised and we will definitely be staying again
Show more...Front start to finish the service here was grade A. Amy was very helpful in the organising before the event. CJ was a fantastic host on the day, the food was excellent and the privacy required for the lunch was exactly what we wanted. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private business lunch in central Manchester.

We went on Mother's Day for the Afternoon Tea. Alice, who served us, was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive and just a pleasure to be served by. The food itself was great, with a lactose intolerance and vegetarian well catered for, and the variety of drinks were exceptional.
