Popped out for a quick bite and feed the ducks in the park. The Cafe website said Chicken Caesar Wraps. No such luck! A small empanada was offered that I didn't want "warming" and a small dreadful tea obviously a catering tea bag. And not cheap either. Don't bother

I went with my family and my young children to this beautiful place.
We all enjoyed and the atmosphere was lovely, our kids practiced their hobby with football
We do BBQ.
It was a lovely family day.

Waterlow Park is a beautiful setting for a day out. A mix between manicured and rugged parkland. Local bbqs seem to be accepted. Situated next door to the stunning Highgate cemetery and a short walk to Highgate village.

This is my favorite London park! Reminds me of Central Park with its ponds, ball fields and woods. They allow grills, so there are loads of people cooking out, and the smells are amazing! Beautiful, family friendly place.

My sister-in-law, children and I crossed the road to go to one of our favourite places this last week - Waterlow Park.
Even though there hasn't been much rain in the months of June and July, this park is wonderfully kept with one of the best views of London thorough a frame of trees. We had a quick lunch outside ordering snacks and drinks at the café.
My sister-in-law pronounced the plate of chips 'very good indeed' after wrestling her kids for a few of them. The bottled drinks are organic juices that were delicious.
We looked at the view, talked to other people having lunch, and felt lucky in this little piece of heaven.

I went to this park today and it was lovely, clean and well kept. Plenty for young kids to enjoy and adults alike. There is a cafe on site which is a bit pricey but serves good sandwiches and good coffee. Recommend. Only thing I would have liked is more information on Sydney Waterlow but I have a personal interest in the waterlow family so might be just me

When Lauderdale House closed for refurbishment, Michael set up a cafe in a wood cabin on the lawn next to where the cafe had been. In the year that he's been there, he's created such a special sense of community, with dog walkers, parents with children, tourists looking for Karl Marx's grave in nearby Highgate Cemetery. He has not been give the concession to run the cafe in the house when it reopens in the autumn and i miss him already. Get there while you can.
