Moonlight Horse Ranch

Absolutely fantastic!! I am an experienced rider and did the sunset tour twice at Moonlight Horse Ranch during my stay at Cappadocia. I went the first time with a group of people (mostly beginner) and my guide who knew I was experience still manage to find a lot of opportunities for me to canter with my horse. The second time I booked a private tour and got to ride the same horse (because I had such a great time with her during the firs tour) and it was one of the best ride that I have done while travelling (and I have done a lot in 20+ countries). The scenery was breathtaking, the horses are really well trained and well taken care of and the guides make sure you are having a great time, taking pictures and videos for you to take as souvenir. It is definitely a must do when visiting Cappadocia "the land of beautiful horses"!!

Everything, excellent service! You will not be disappointed. Staff are friendly and will give you a really good tour. No harassment. Will definitely do again next time in cappadocia. The price, hotel pick up, horses, tour, sunset well worth it best in cappadocia highly recommend moonlighthorseranch.

It was the best!! Incredible sunrise tour with Ramazan, the horses were perfect and Ramazan was the best guide - he took many pictures and we saw the balloons during sunrise. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a horse riding tour in Capadoccia

My family absolutely LOVED our trail ride in Göreme. Our daughters (15 & 10 years) are equestrians and the guides (with our permission) split our group into two at one point in the ride (my husband and I are less experienced riders), so that they could have a little bit more thrilling ride. The landscape was amazing and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. It had been raining on and off all day and they got us a reservation very quickly and we’re able to squeeze us in between downpours. It was a ride of a lifetime.

We did the horse ride on our first day in Goerme and it was a great way to get our bearings (this only improved our balloon ride at the end of our trip!). The ride lasted 2 hours and went down through rose valley, and back up through love valley, before ending where we started in Goerme. The scenery was breathtaking, easily enjoyed whilst feeling safe on the horses with our friendly guide.

I recently booked with Moonlight Horse Ranch for a 2 hour sunset trip with my wife and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. We are extreme novices at riding anything with four legs, especially my wife who is scared of all animals, however from the get go she was made to feel at ease and was guided throughout. It was truly a wonderful experience and certainly worth every penny. 5 stars from us!

We had an amazing sunrise horseback ride with Ali yesterday morning. He picked us up from our hotel at 4:45am and we got to the stables and rode our horses to rose valley, where we watched hot air balloons take off and wedding pictures get taken and even a hip hop artist recording a video. It was awesome! Thank you Moonlight Horse Ranch.

We were so excited to be able to ride horses through the valleys of Cappadocia but ended up extremely disappointed. Upon arriving we could see that the horses weren't well cared for (not groomed) and almost thought of going somewhere else but unfortunately did not. We booked a 2 hour ride through the valley and were told that we will have a guide and stop a couple times for pictures and tea.

When we arrived they weren't ready (must have forgotten about our appointment). We are assuming that there wasn't a guide available so they sent a horse hand instead, he was very disinterested. We received no instructions, he was very impatient and it seemed clear that he simply wanted to get back as soon as possible and didn't have time to help the riders nor give them a good experience.

In comparing our experience with all the others I am hopeful that our experience wasn't a normal one. I think the guide is key so I would strongly encourage you to get to know your guide before you go.

The only bad comment I have was with the horseback riding with Moonlight horse company. I didn’t like how they over worked the horses. These horses are out working from early morning for the sunrise view all the way to the evening for the sunset ride. One of the horses looked in pain while it’s metal horse shoe was falling off. The horses were all very aggressive and not friendly but I believe it’s because they were exhausted from working all day. My aunt was thrown off the horse and my horse wanted to knock me off. I’ve gone horseback riding many times and all over the world and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I felt so bad for the horses. Also the guys leading the tour barely spoke English and seemed to be laughing at us the entire time because we were struggling. Hopefully some animal organization can look into the treatment of the horses their. I’m a huge animal lover and don’t like to see animals suffer.

My daughter has a real animal lover and it was on her to-do list to ride a horse on her own, in Turkey (she's 8, nearly 9). Some ranches didn't bother to reply to my email and we chanced upon them on our walk and spoke to their lovely guide from Thailand. The horses looked well taken care off and the grounds were clean plus their prices were very fair (book directly not thru your hotel) and we had a grand time.

The ride was safe (my 8-year-old was being led but on her own horse) and the rest of us had a grand time and let's not forget the darling cocker spaniel that followed us, all dog lovers unite and squeal in delight!
