Amazing b&b, elegant and extremely typical with 12 rooms very beautiful each different from the other. The B&b has been redesigned and built by the current owners starting from the ruins of the old house, and it clearly shows the love and passion of the owners. Breakfast is extremely rich with typical and had made products The hosts are super kindly and helpful

Hosts Emre and Begum are a delightful couple who are passionate about the history and architecture of their wonderfully restored hotel and work hard to make you feel relaxed and at home. They have managed to successfully retain the old rock hewn rooms while including simple home comforts (like underfloor heating and powerful showers). We stayed in a former stable, next door was the original chapel - still with it's domed ceiling above (what I assume) was the altar. Other rooms include the former wine cellar and take a peek into the "library" where you can peruse heavy, centuries old books that are a historian and book lovers dream. Breakfast is a culinary experience with varieties of deliciously fresh breads, cheeses, fruits, homemade preserves and honey as well as eggs made however you like them (Turkish eggs are particularly good!). Sipping wine or tea on the upper outdoor terrace watching the sun go down is a great way to put the world to rights with fellow guests (there are only 12 rooms) or listen to Emre recount the project to recover and renovate this treasure of a building. If you're looking for a relaxing ambience in an authentic rock cave dwelling with the highest level of guest attentiveness, look no further. Highly recommended.

I was fortunate to stay in this cave hotel recently with a small group. Loved the quirky room, beautiful gardens and outdoor seating areas. The breakfasts were the best I’d had in 2 weeks of travelling around Turkey and the owners delightful and approachable.

Sick of touristy hotels, crowds. Want to experience real Turkey; look no further than Aya Hotel. Managed by a young couple who are passionate about hosting you, passionate about the history of this restored village house and are committed to providing the best local cuisine; this place was a highlight of our 20 days in Turkey. Each room is different due to the original purpose of them in the house. Not a cave house but very ‘cave like’. Lovely shared roof top spaces with fabulous views of Cappadocia. The only thing to keep in mind is… if you have mobility issues you would need to state at the time of booking.

My Girlfriend and I took a quick trip to Kapadokya while visiting Turkey and we are so lucky that a friend recommended this place. Located up a local street with no other hotels in the immediate area, the property itself is stunning. It is an old house/chapel that was restored by the couple who owns it and they did a truly incredible job. We stayed in one of the lower rooms which was a cave room. Everything from the fixtures to the bedding, bathing products and water that was given to us daily were well thought out and perfect. The breakfast each morning consisted of fresh cheeses, breads, fruits, vegetables, and an array of jams that were made at the hotel. The view from the terrace where breakfast was served was like a movie set. On top of everything, the owners/hosts were great people. Their passion for what they do was evident and they even put together a two day hurry-up tour for us and hired a driver to take us around. We saw so much in two days and can’t wait to go back and stay for longer next time. When we do we will definitely stay here!

This hotel is amazing. A beautiful old former priests home which has been restored in its glory. Modernised with cave rooms that all differ and are surprising. Every room had a livingroim, bathroom and bedroom. All amenities are modern and of very good quality. The hotel itself lays in a quiet part of the village Urgup. But all the important attractions are nearby. Town centre has all you need, restaurants, shops and supermarkt. Offer towns are nearby. The owners Bibi and Emre are so hospitable and help you out with everything. Their food is organic and selfgrown. The building itself is a jewel ! We have been here 4 times and are still amazed. Prices are good.

AYA Kapadokya is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. Thanks to the owners a lovely couple who made sure to provide the best quality of service to their guests. They have also upgraded my room, The room was amazing so many details that made us enjoyed the feeling inside the cave. And it was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast served with plenty of options, everyday something new on the table. For your information Urgup town where the hotel is located is less crowded than Goreme. Thank you AYA Kapadokya for the extraordinary experience hopefully i will comeback again.

The rooms was fantastic, breakfast was great. Most importantly the host, they were friendly, gave me great advice, have a friendly hotel dog. What I loved about the place is that it is done by designers who’d is passionate about their work. Some areas for improvements, but it has been an amazing stay wanted to give them as much encouragement as they can get

This amazing cave hotel has all of the amenities of any luxury accommodation. We stayed in the chapel room and, yes, it has a lovely little chapel space. Our place was bright and cheerful by day, with plenty of room for two or more people. It included a contemporary shower/bathroom and a fabulous freestanding tub, a small living room with television where you can catch up on the news in English, and a large bedroom with a great Queen-sized bed and comfy pillows. Because it’s a cave it is totally dark at night, perfect for sleeping. Breakfast is indoors or outdoors, depending on weather, and it is a delicious spread of olives, breads, homemade jams, tostadas, eggs, potatoes, cheese and even crepes. They intentionally change the menu just slightly each day so you never get tired of eating! And the views are spectacular throughout the day, as the light changes. I’ve saved the best for last— the owners, Emre and Begum. They are a wonderful couple whose knowledge of the area is very impressive but more importantly, they welcomed us like family and did whatever they could to make us feel at home. Go to Cappadocia and stay at Aya Kapadokya!
